Ad Iterum changes
After eight months of development, Demo is OUT now!
Collapsing floors, gas vents, toxic traps, alarms that call the whole floor down on you, and corpses that were rigged to explode. Fire spreads. Oil ignites. Deep water hides things... the dungeon wants you dead.
Enemies roll their own modifiers: Berserk, Poisonous, Elite, Infested, Oversized, Immortal... the same creature is never quite the same fight twice. Some explode when they die, others keep spawning foes until you deal with the source, while others will try to steal your gear and run away.
Eat your enemies or find mutagens that reshape your body and the run: Phase through defenses, grow claws or quills, photosynthesize instead of eating, sprout a third eye... some are gifts, some are curses, most are both.
You can also craft, and cook (you should probably cook, raw meat is always risky).
What's in the Demo?
1 dungeon with 1 procedurally generated biome
1 boss
2 endings
20 mutations
20 genetic grafts to tune up your build
10 base enemies, each with unique behaviour within the ecosystem. Each enemy might have multiple modifier traits, which makes for hundreds of different variations
200 items
Basic crafting
English, Spanish, Japanese localization
Keyboard, mouse support, and full controller support
Playable in Windows, macOS, and Steam Deck via proton
What's next?
While there's still much to do, the game is still in the path to be launched by the end of the year, no early access but direct full release.
If you'd like to participate in ongoing development, share feedback, or get access to early builds with the new stuff, come and join Discord!
Thanks for playing!
