our online rework using steam servers is finally available to test! we plan on fixing any issues this weekend and releasing the proper official update sometime next week.
to access the beta:
right click the game in your library > properties > betas > type "wifiwarriors"
NOTE: SET YOUR INPUT DELAY BACK UP TO 2 IF YOU EXPERIENCE MAJOR LAG SPIKES. WE HAVE IT SET TO ZERO BY DEFAULT IN THE BETA, BUT ROLLBACK WORKS BETTER WITH 1-2 FRAMES OF DELAY. if you weren't able to play online at all until this point, this should allow you to do so. you can only play with other players on the beta branch, so make sure all of your friends switch to it as well if you are testing.
expect some bugs/issues/crashes this weekend while we work out any problems before a full release. please report any issues in our discord's "bug-reports" section and use the new tag "online rework beta."
