30 Days on Ship changes
Hey castaways!
VIDEO ANNOUNCEMENT
We know many of you are excited and can’t wait for 30 Days On Ship, and we’ve heard you loud and clear.
Based on your feedback and impatience, we’ve decided on a carefully planned Early Access approach that will let us finish the game the way you expect it – polished, fun, and stable.
Early Access Announcement
Early Access will launch once the game is ready, with a fully playable singleplayer experience.
COOP will not be available at launch, and it will only be added later during Early Access as a test mode on a community Discord branch. When Early Access ends COOP will be added as free update.
This ensures that Early Access starts with a stable foundation while giving us room to polish the core game and respond to your feedback.
Gameplay Modes
Many of you have asked for different styles of gameplay. Some prefer a slow, relaxed experience, while others want intense survival challenges.
To address this, we’ve created three main gameplay modes: Exploration, Survival, Balanced, plus a Custom mode where you can tweak the game to your preferred settings.
Exploration – long days, hunger decreases slowly, enemies are weak, and death returns you to your last sleep point. Perfect for a relaxed, chill experience.
Survival – fast-paced gameplay, short days, hunger rises quickly, inspired by The Forest. Death is permanent, for those seeking real challenge.
Balanced – a middle ground: dynamic gameplay, but not too intense.
Custom – adjust parameters like day length, hunger rate, enemy difficulty, and death rules to fit your personal style.
This way, everyone can find the gameplay experience that suits them best.
VIDEO GAME PROGRESS
Key changes / Game Progress
Over the past months, we’ve been hard at work improving the game:
Completely redesigned economy and containers – we got feedback from many of you
Item progression system – items can have now upgrades
New weapons and combat mechanics – diverse strategies, strengths, and new limitations (like water)
Updated UI and onboarding – clearer interface, compass, and quest markers
Balanced difficulty – which fits your needs
QoL and optimization improvements – smoother interactions, better animations, and graphics
The game is now in a phase of finalizing screens, fixing remaining bugs, and expanding AI and enemy behavior systems.
COOP
COOP will be added later during Early Access on a community Discord branch as a test mode.
The full version 1.0 will include COOP officially, and this version will also have a higher price to reflect the complete experience.
Early Access Pricing
As a thank you to players who support the game in its early stages, Early Access will launch at a lower price.
At The End Of This Message
Your activity on our Discord will let you directly influence the direction this ship sails, helping us shape the game during Early Access.
The game is now in the stage of polishing final UI, systems, fixing bugs, and expanding enemy behavior systems.
We don’t have a set date for Early Access yet, but rest assured – we’re definitely closer than ever.
Stay tuned, castaways – the adventure is just getting started!
And after this, check out the changelog to see all the detailed improvements and updates.
Demo
Some of you may have tried our previous demo. We want to let you know that it does not reflect the current state of the game, which has evolved a lot since then.
That’s why we decided to temporarily close the demo, so we could focus on finalizing gameplay, improving systems, polishing the UI, and adding new mechanics.
We plan to re-release the demo just before Early Access, giving you a chance to experience the most up-to-date version of the game before the official launch.
