30 Days on Ship changes
Ahoy, Sailors!
We've been busy working on some exciting improvements for 30 Days on the Ship. Here's what we've been cooking up in the development kitchen:
🏴☠️ Advanced Pirate AI System
Our enemy AI has received a major overhaul with much more dynamic behaviors:
Sound Reaction – Pirates now respond to noises you make. Loud footsteps, gunshots, or knocked-over objects will alert nearby enemies
Damage Response – Enemies react realistically to the amount of damage they take, changing their tactics based on their condition
Cover Awareness – When you aim at pirates, they'll actively try to avoid your line of fire and seek cover
These improvements make combat more tactical and unpredictable. Enemies feel alive and responsive to your every action!
🔫 Weapon Physics
We've completely reworked the firearms system:
Physics-based projectiles – bullets now behave more realistically
Better feedback – shooting feels more impactful and satisfying
Improved accuracy simulation – weapon handling is now more authentic
The new system makes gunplay feel much more visceral and rewarding.
🔧 Community-Driven Hotfixes
Thanks to your bug reports and feedback, we've been able to address numerous issues you've encountered. Your reports are invaluable – they help us identify and fix problems we might have missed. Most importantly, we've fixed the major issue with disappearing rooms and ship parts – this critical bug should no longer disrupt your gameplay experience.
Every piece of feedback makes the game better, so keep them coming!
All these changes will be available by the end of the year in the demo version. We can't wait for you to experience the improved AI and new weapon physics!
See you on board! ⚓
