Demo Patch Notes 0.6.3.1 - Deadeye Aspect with Manual Attack and New Talents

Deadeye Aspect Say hello to the Deadeye, the first aspect that lets you manually attack the zombies. Your manual left-click shots work alongside auto-attacks, and they run on Deadeye Charges that recover over time.

Talents

  • Talents are now split across 3 tiers.

  • Added the Regen Suppression talent, reducing enemy HP and Energy Shield regen by 75%.

  • Added talent rerolls using Skulls or Talent Shards.

Attribute Mastery

  • Added Attribute Mastery talents.

  • Attack, Magic, Defense, and Vitality Mastery grant attributes and let you choose a scaling bonus.

  • Attribute Mastery includes 29 scaling bonuses split across Uncommon, Rare, and Legendary tiers.

  • You can choose up to 4 Attribute Masteries per run.

Gameplay Options

  • Added a manual aim gameplay option.

  • Added an option to skip chest reward selection.

  • Added an option to show or hide damage numbers.

Optimization

  • Added the first iteration of adaptive frame budgeting to reduce frame spikes during large damage bursts and heavy floating text spam.

Balance and Fixes

  • Archmage Aspect has been removed from the game until its rework.

  • Locked upgrades no longer appear as chest rewards.

  • Damage absorbed by Energy Shield now shows in popups instead of 0.

  • Power Surge and Corruption Surge maximum stacks reduced from 2 to 1.

  • Dot Overflow chance was reduced from 10% to 6%, and its upgrade cap was raised from 10 to 20.

  • Empowered Vitality and Empowered Rock Heart bonuses were reduced from 10% to 6%.

  • Added protection against income abuse from stalling waves: if enemies remain alive long after a wave ends, they gradually gain pressure bonuses until the wave is cleared.

  • Fixed Endless run timer reset and elapsed time display.

  • Fixed knockback locks and excessive enemy displacement.
