The New Spring Event: Upgrading the Nian Beast
We adjusted the growth of the Nian Beasts. New creatures:
- Crystal Nian Beast
- Auspicious Nian Beast New item: Fantasy Nian beast's Egg Crystal Nian Beast and Auspicious Nian Beast are new rare Nian beasts that look like Mini Nian Beasts. They can’t be released in Nian Beast Altar, but as resources for releasing Nian Beasts, exiling them gives players a large amount of Anima. Decreased the required amount of Nian Beasts for releasing Nian Beasts and Ice Nian Beasts. Higher level Nian Beasts now require Crystal Nian Beasts and Auspicious Nian Beasts to release to next stage. The Crystal Nian Beast and Auspicious Nian Beast can be hatched from all kinds of Nian’s Eggs with low possibility. The Fantasy Nian Beast’s Egg is a rare loot of the King of Nian Beasts and only hatch Crystal Nian Beasts or Auspicious Nian Beasts. Slightly increased the possibility for the King of Nian Beast to drop Ice Nian Beast’s Egg. Decreased the Anima cost for upgrading Nian Beasts. Note: There’s no adjustments on the difficulty of releasing a Nian Beast in this update.
Environment Adjustments:
We added some decorative trees to the Grassland. Removed the Blood-sucking Mosquitos at the edges of the desert: now they only spawn deep in the desert.
New Equipment:

Guidance Optimization:
We added quest descriptions on the main interface to help players understand the quests better. Some guidance has been moved to the bottom-left of the main interface as hints, instead of popping up. Adjusted lots of guidance contents to fit the new game experience. Optimized some item descriptions.
Adjustments:
Adjusted the skills of Boars and Wolves, they now move more naturally.
Strengthened the charged attack of the Pike. Now the charging time is longer and characters can move when charging.
Changed the way players acquire wools. Wools are no longer loots of Sheep, instead they become outcomes when feeding tamed sheep.
Increased the food types of Colorful Birds and Yaks. Now all crops can be fed to them to produce eggs or milk.
Changed the recipe of Roast Nuts. Now all seeds can be baked into Roast Nuts except for Pineapple Seeds.
Removed the durability lost of the Memory Bracelet when attacking creatures. Now its durability only drops when character respawns.
Adjusted the sound of Boars and Moose.
To throw rocks, players now need to press and hold attack. One click would result in character kicking forward.
The sanity attribute is now changed into dizziness and it’s 0 by default. Satiety is changed into cold hardiness.
Ropes are not required for Pikes, Straw Tents and Straw Clothes.
The Eggplant Seeds are no longer loots of rabbits. They can now be found in Tall Grasses.
Added captions to the game start animation.
Character’s inventory list would be opened when interacting with production facilities.
The character now eats food faster.
Increased the durability of straw products and stone weapons.
Adjusted the attack values of creatures.
Adjusted some attack and defense values of the equipment and weapons.
Increased the attack value of the Nian Beasts.
Adjusted creature’s attribute values in Utopia.
Now characters and creatures can switch between walking/running by clicking shift.
Optimization & Bugs Fixed
Fixed the movements when dodging with clubs. Now it won’t be interrupted.
Repaired the problem of frequent loading.
Fixed the bug that animals would sometimes freeze during combats.
Fixed the bug that players can’t change their weapon sometimes.
Fixed the memory bugs when changing characters.
Fixed the bug that some facilities would stop working during production.
Repaired the Utopia animation.
Fixed the bug that players can’t craft items with Quick Access bar.
Repaired the auto-clip for building structures.
Fixed the bug that players in the same team would sometimes be recognized as enemies.
The Character can now perform some movements during jumps.
Increased the frame rate.
Follow-up Update notice:
We will continue optimizing the detailed game experience, decrease the latency caused by building structures and facilities. We are now trying to adjust the attack and defense values of all creatures, hoping to have a better positioning for different creatures and weapons.
