Hey friends, the April update is here! It took a ton of work to get this running but there's finally a new massive island to build the rest of the game on.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Your settings and calibration from previous versions will be lost. Please update settings and re-run calibration from the main menu.

Content

  • Way bigger ~4 square km island with giant mountain peaks.

  • New more detailed trees with branches you can perch among.

  • Brought player's eye distance closer to that of a bird so you feel more bird-sized.

  • Volumetric clouds you can fly through just below the mountain peaks.

  • Lightweight volumetric sun shafts.

  • Dive speed increased.

  • Tons of manual optimization and a new LOD system to get this island running.

  • Misc physics and wildlife bugfixes and tweaks.

  • Less cluttered main menu.
