Yield! Fall of Rome changes
Heyho everyone,
It’s been a long road since we first opened the gates to YIELD! in Early Access - and you’ve been right there with us every step of the way. Through your feedback, suggestions, bug reports, wild ideas, and the occasional “Wait, what if…?” moment, you’ve helped shape the game into something far bigger than when we started.
For months, you’ve been asking the big question: When’s 1.0? Well, it’s time to stop wondering. YIELD! 1.0 launches on the 11th of August!
What’s New in 1.0?
One of the loudest requests since day one has been more faction variety and a bigger, bolder role for Monarchs. We heard you - and we’ve gone all in.
Monarch Overhaul - Kings and Queens now have expanded Skills, Attributes, and Abilities that can change the flow of battle.
Persistent Progress - Monarch experience now carries over across your whole campaign (up to level 10), even if they fall in battle.
Unique Monarch Playstyles - Each Monarch now comes with distinct advantages, giving their armies a completely different edge.
Revival With Honor - If your Monarch is defeated, they return with their full experience intact.
New Buildings & Balancing - Fresh city structures, refined balancing, and quality-of-life tweaks across the board.
And that’s just the highlight reel - this update is stacked.
Why This Matters
Version 1.0 isn’t the end of YIELD! - it’s the start of something new. With this foundation in place, we’ll keep building, tweaking, and adding more ways to conquer, scheme, and outwit your foes.
You’ve helped us get here. Now we can’t wait to see what you do with it.
Let’s make history together.
