Wyldernook changes
We're really excited by the growth and all the new players coming in! Another small patch for today of various quality of life improvements, fixes and some tuning to cards and campaign.
Card Changes
Swamp Terror now drains the healthiest opponent for 3, rather than all opponents for 2.
Swamp Terror was pretty underwhelming in 1v1 for an 8 drop, but quite strong in Court. In general, we're concerned that the level of healing in Court games is too high, and keeping an eye on that. For now, we're just changing Swamp Terror to draining the healthiest opponent, a design that has proven to lead to healthier Court games, as it tends to equalize out life totals.
Campaign Changes
We've started to get data about the various scenarios in the game, such as the faction unlocks and campaign, so we're making some adjustments now that we have real data.
Dali Chalicel's health is now 40, down from 50.
Dali has by far the highest kill rate, dwarfing the other elites (and even the boss encounter), so we're bringing him down a bit.
Gleeper now has 30 health, down from 40.
Gleeper now starts off with 1 more resource, and 1 more card in hand.
While Gleeper is in line with the other elites in terms of difficulty, the fight can end up being tedious, especially since you have to kill her with 1/1's. We're lowering her health, but compensating her with more starting resources, to keep the challenge of the fight, but make it flow faster.
Johanna should no longer target the same cards over and over with Lightning Blast, and should cast them more consistently.
The boss fight of Act 1 seems to land in a good spot of challenge, but sometimes Johanna just targets the same card over and over again with her Lightning Blasts, which not only feels pretty dumb, but can mean the fight is randomly much easier. She should be smarter with them now.
General Changes
Hovering over a pack in Chive's Shop now tells you what's in the pack, and the percentage chances of special cards in it.
The collection filter tab is now always visible in the collection page.
We noticed that most players weren't realizing you could filter your collection, and most importantly, didn't realize you could use this to see all the cards you didn't own, which is how you directly craft cards. By default, the Collection filter tab was closed, which in itself was a bug, but upon reflection there's no reason to ever close it, so now it's just always visible.
We've added a button in General Chat to join our Discord server.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a bug where Game Chat wasn't active as soon as the End Game animation started. Now you can both chat after the game.
Taunt now properly according to its text box, working on any character and not just enemies.
Armored Pineapple on-field version now displays that it has an effect.
Fixed some invisible error spam that was happening if you had the collection page and chat opened at the same time, causing performance issues.
Fixed an issue where MacOS bug reports weren't able to send crash logs.
Spelling Fixes
Fixed a spelling mistake in the Trade UI.
