Write Warz 2.00.01– Patch Notes
This update focuses on reworking Fantasy relics, improving story flow, stabilizing core systems, and polishing the overall experience. Several long-standing issues have been addressed, and we’ve introduced new systems to help stories stay cohesive while still allowing chaos.
Fantasy Relics Rework
Fantasy relics have been redesigned to create stronger decision-making, clearer impact, and more interaction between players.
Quill of Echoes
Old: Earn extra points for submitting a sentence over 150 characters.
New: If you write the longest sentence in the round, you steal points from the player who wrote the shortest sentence.
Hourglass of Power
Old: Zap a random player each round. That player loses 5–10 seconds, and you gain that many points.
New: When activated, the target’s timer runs at 2× speed for the rest of the round.
Rune of Prompting
Old: Gain one extra bonus word each round.
New: Gain three bonus words. Each successfully used bonus word grants a multiplier, following standard bonus word rules.
Lantern of Insight
Old: Start each round with Good Judgment at 1×.
New: When charged, the round timer speeds up and is hidden from all players except you.
Eye of the Arbiter
Old: On odd rounds, see which entry belongs to the top player in the voting round.
New: On odd rounds, see which entry belongs to all players during the voting round.
Storm Talisman
Old: On even rounds, zap a player; their writing panel is struck by lightning every 10 seconds, locking it for 2 seconds.
New: On even rounds, zap a player to scramble their keyboard for 3 seconds and disable backspace for the entire round.
New Plot-Bot System
A new “Plot-Bot” system has been added as a story assistant. Plot-Bot reviews important story details and prompts players to reuse key characters, locations, or events for bonus points. This system is designed to help stories remain coherent while still allowing creative escalation.
