Wrestling Empire changes
Even more characters can be used in matches (remember to make it inter-promotional to go beyond the limits of one roster!) and a new "Extended" FX option takes longer to remove splatters or eliminated opponents. - Characters are added/removed as quickly as you can tap the button - whereas holding it now takes you to a screen where you can hand-pick ALL participants by name! This function can be accessed instantly with a middle mouse click, where right clicks also now instantly remove a specific character. - Choosing not to participate in a match now changes the "Play" tab to "Watch". - Character outlines when switching controls in multiplayer are now optional. - More assertive AI is better at judging ranges (especially with weapons), and a new "Extremely Hard" setting makes it even more difficult to defeat CPU opponents! - Continued success at a lower difficulty level in career mode may challenge you to raise it. - More intuitive target selection is more interested in those nearby (in the direction you hold) instead of randomly browsing through every single character. - Fixed an issue that may have caused extra controllers to not have their meters displayed. - New taunts include: "Point At Sky", "Statuesque", "Rewind", "Loaded Fist", and a handful of new "Remove..." taunts can actually change your costume in real-time! - New Middle Eastern headwear at #46 (rest in peace Sabu). - New female singlets at flesh #14-15. - New falling animations include slumping forwards or backwards against a wall. - Swinging weapons can become entangled (relative to the "Skill" and timing of the defender). - Many strike counters (and entanglements like double clotheslines) are less common as standard, especially without human input (i.e. an abandoned controller will never fight back). - Powerful strikes & crushes are powerful enough to end a match on an "Adrenaline" rush (but use up more of it). - It's less likely to counter finishers but not impossible. - Spamming the same move makes it twice as likely to fail. - Holds that have very few counters are easier to break the standard way. - Alternate left-handed slap and lower slaps with either hand. - People with no arms favour kicks, etc. - Having no arms makes it harder (but not impossible) to get back up to your feet. - Missing arm limbs increase the chances of falling while climbing. - Weak strikes stop springboards as much as a strong strike. - Needing the toilet distracts you from attacking/grappling. - Improved logic when stripping costumes to remain tattooed, etc. - More relevant transitions from a front facelock (such as suplexes and DDTs). - Dropping objects from a crouching state no longer attempts to hand them over. - No shivering animation while sleeping. - Dropped objects can't be handed to opponents during a match. - Unconscious wrestlers are eventually removed from arenas if they can't walk out themselves. - Water is bluer and less transparent. - The jury reacts to the prosecution & defence as well as the verdict. - Bloodsport style "Ropeless Ring" matches show up more often - especially in the MMA-based Weekend Warriors promotion.
