World Ship Simulator changes
Hi everyone, Today's update brings a lot of new fixes as well as more cutomisable graphics options for the visual effects. Over the next few weeks we will also be releasing more details about upcoming ships and the direction of future development.
Fixes:
Fixed an issue where right clicking on the engine or wheel UI would affect the controls while rotating the camera as well
Fixed an issue where the sea depth would display as 0m
Improved realism of carrier turning
Fixed an issue where the bridge controls could be interacted with through the pause menu
Fixed an issue where the mission UI would not properly clear after completing a mission
Fixed an issue causing the bridge controls to shake for the first 30 seconds of loading up a game
Fixed an issue where the tutorial could be abandoned
Fixed an issue that could cause interacting with the world map to be difficult
Renting ships now costs the correct price
Moved a crew member from the front of the port boat
Fixed an issue that could cause 1st person movement to become jerky
It will no longer rain indoors and inside ship interiors
Fixed an issue where you could pause the game while at a loading screen
Civilians in the harbours should no longer get stuck inside objects or walk over furniture
Improved the smoothness of camera movement
The spray effects are now less luminous at night
Fixed an issue that could cause the camera to become stuck upon breaking a ship
Fixed being able to tow your own ship
Fixed a road that appeared to be floating
The ship’s wake will now be less visible at night
Corrected the positioning of the spray effects on some ships
Fixed an issue that could cause harbour sound effects to play for a few seconds when loading a game
Reduced the intensity of some visual effects and added in individual options to turn each effect on or off
You can now steer with the keyboard while in the bridge camera view using a semi-locked wheel
Sea scrolling should now be much less visible
Fixed an issue where some NPC ships in the harbour could intersect
Improved the NPC walk cycle
The scrolling speed of the world map will no longer be affected by the time speed
Fixed an issue that could cause rain to disappear while rotating the camera
Known Issues:
Fast travelling while at 5x speed can cause parts of the UI to become unresponsive
Entering a harbour while at 5x speed can cause the UI to become unresponsive
Mooring at the finishing point while moving can cause the ‘Cancel mission’ warning message to become stuck on screen
