Wireworks changes
Wireworks v1.3 is a major content update, with new systems and items that introduce more variety and tools to play with.
Major Additions:
40 New Items: Featuring a brand new item type with a unique mechanic, Tools.
2 New Unlockable Characters: Centered around Tools and Pets.
These will be unlocked automatically if their requirements were met before the update.
- 15 New SkillsFor new synergies with the new items and mechanics.
Other Changes:
Shop Rebalance: Shop item pools now differ based on character chosen, reducing randomness.
- Item changes and ReworksSome older items were changed or redesigned to be more useful.
- New Steam AchievementsFor winning with the new characters.
Item Changes:
The following items have been redesigned/Improved:
Fish: Now swims around enemies.
- PenguinImproved base speed and targeting.
Bolt: Now targets nearest enemy to base.
- Watering CanDamage increased. [2 DMG -> 3 DMG]
- LongstaffDamage increased. [1 DMG -> 2 DMG]
- Wind GemDamage increased. [1 DMG -> 2 DMG]
- ExplosiveReworked item into a screen-wide explosive with long CD.
- WrenchReworked item into a Tool with Mech buffs.
- ScrewdriverReworked item into a Tool with Module buffs.
- RepeaterNow only repeats Hit and Kill effects. (Added new items to repeat Wand/Tool effects.)
The next updates for now will be mostly focused on balance and localization.
