Our 1st Anniversary event is coming up next week! We’re kicking off the festivities with Patch 1.5.4, which is out now.

In addition to the latest updates to Wildgate, we’re excited to host a couple of community events to celebrate our upcoming 1st Anniversary: A tournament powered by our friends at Champion’s Reach and a Treasure Selfie Hunt. Get them dirty deets below.

Do you have what it takes to become a Champion of the Reach?

We’re teaming up the amazing folks at Champion’s Reach, who have organized a few Wildgate Tournaments in the past, to have a tournament celebrating one year of space crimes!

Game Director Dustin and Producer Victoria will cast matches, which you can watch live on our Twitch channel.

• Date: July 25th at 12PM PDT

• Reward: Player Title - Champion of the Reach

• Server: NA EAST

• 3 or 4 player teams may sign up

• Sign-ups end: July 22nd, 2026 at 12AM PDT

For our intrepid treasure seekers, we’re offering a few unique player and ship titles for your bounty of selfies!

This community event will be hosted on our Discord server, so make sure to join to participate!

From July 22 through August 5, take selfies in Treasure Hunt under specific categories to earn Player & Ship titles! Each title will be unique to its category, and 5 winners will be randomly selected from each category as the ultimate selfie treasure hunter. If we receive more than 20 unique player entries per category, these titles will be unlocked for ALL PLAYERS.

The more categories you participate in, the more in-game titles you can win!

Categories are:

• Most Creative - The winners will be selected by a community vote at the end of the event. You decide what’s creative, just don’t make us regret having eyes.

  • Ship Title Reward: Not Dead Yet

• The More the Merrier - Have more than 4 players included in your selfie in Vortex Wilds.

  • Player Title Reward: Death Can Wait

• Friendship Forged in Ice - Take a selfie with another prospector in Cryon Reach.

  • Ship Title Reward: Beginner’s Luck

• Green with Envy - Take a selfie with a Zyglom in any Treasure Hunt map.

  • Ship Title Reward: Stop Probing Me

• “I can trust you right?” - Take a selfie with another prospector while wielding the Artifact in Vortex Deeps.

  • Player Title Reward: Reach Roach

• “They Started It” - Take a selfie in a destroyed Ghost Legion Ship.

  • Ship Title Reward: Evil and Intimidating Horse

Submission Guidelines:

1. Each selfie counts as one entry only for the player who submits it.

2. Multiple submissions by the same player in a category, will only count for one entry.

3. The Most Creative category is an exception to rule 2, the same player may post multiple entries, but only one entry from that player can win from the community vote.

4. Selfie submissions that do not meet the category criteria will be removed.

5. All screenshots must be submitted via their appropriate Discord channels as part of each Category thread.
