PATCH HIGHLIGHTS
Treasure Hunt Revamp
All 5 zones are now PvE only
Gates are now always open in all zones
Players can now play for up to 6 hours in one session
Players can now loot up to 200k
The Vortex Deeps Mission to destroy a Player ship has been removed
Artifacts are consumed when brought aboard a ship and the loot credit goes to all teams
Players cannot steal installed Hardpoints or Turrets from Player ships
QoL Updates
Spectator Improvements
Spectators can use the “snap-to-ship“ wheel to select a specific player to spectate.
Spectators can see the loadout of the player being spectated in the lower right.
Spectators can toggle UI visibility by pressing “NumLock“ (matching what non-spectators are currently able to do)
Spectators can see the kill feed and ship death notifications while in a match with the “Dead Sensors” modifier
Fixed some cases where spectator UI would linger between matches
General UI Improvements
Ship resources are now visible while in spectator mode or when scanning a ship with a probe
Medium POIs are now blue on the world map
Micro POIs now have a micro POI specific icon and no longer display their name on the map
When using the Fire Extinguisher weapon, fire position UI indicators are now visible to match how they appear while holding the multitool
Reach Zone descriptions added to Lucky Docks for Artifact Brawl
Mophs now has a cloak UI indicator for time remaining for stealth
Grenades now have world UI indicators
Artifact World indicator now fades when looking at it
“Swap Radial Menu“ input key can now be rebound
Updated Repulsor Equipment UI icon
Controls
Players can now select the “scroll to multitool” setting for mouse and keyboard to allow scrolling to equip the multitool.
Custom Lobby
Custom Lobby matches can now start with 2 players instead of 4.
Updated button bindings for gamepad and updated the Custom Game Lobby button style
Adjusted the layout and styling of the team view screen for Custom Lobbies
Added gamepad trigger binds for ship preferences and lobby options button
Increased the opacity for improved visibility when hovering over member slots in custom lobbies
Readded and fixed “Game Seed” option.
BALANCE UPDATES
Perks
Kae Teleport:
Old: +25m teleport range
New: -60m teleport range but +2 charges
Boarder:
Speed in space increased from +5% → +10%
Cursed:
Now does a 2x damage penalty in addition to the reloading curse
Prospectors
Charlie now revives allies with 25% of their maximum health
Weapons
Sonic Boom:
Clip size increased from 4 -> 5
Rocket Launcher:
Now does +50% damage to AI
Equipment
Plasma Grenade:
Damage reduced from 200 > 150
Rock:
4X damage to AI → 5x damage to AI
Enemy AI
Reduced health of Bosses and Reach Beasts
Ships
All ships move 30% faster (forward and backward)
Battle Scout:
Prospector catapult now launches players in the direction they are facing
Speed bonus while shields are lowered is doubled compared to other ships
Free Booster device removed
Bastion:
Windows, Doors, and Engines now auto-repair after a short time
Hardpoints
Quantum Probe Sensor
Increased drop rate
Changed hardpoint effect:
Old: Auto-reveals the artifact to the team
New: Periodically auto-reveals nearby enemy ships to the team
Bomb Trap
Damage reduced from 20 -> 10
Now drops at a reduced rate
Sal Bomb Trap
Damage reduced from 30 → 20
Ship Aegis
Duration increased from 5 → 8 seconds
Coolant Button
No longer spawns in Dead Worlds
Ship Weapons
Sniper Cannon:
Damage reduced from 2 → 1.5
Disruptor Sniper Cannon:
Damage reduced from 2 → 1.5
Artifact Brawl
Artifact no longer spawns in small or medium POIs
Reach Zones proceduralism updates for more distinct Reach Zones in Artifact Brawl
Treasure Hunt
Increase the loot found in loot rooms for Treasure Hunt with increasing values in the later Reach Zones.
Stalkers now respawn at a slower rate
Arctic Sea now spawns some fuel resources
General
Removed the defender armor bonus
Vault keys only open one door. You need multiple keys to unlock multiple doors
BUG FIXES / MISC
Updated the reticle selection preview in the Options menu to more clearly display the preview
Gamepad can now use the “Join” button consistently when joining an in progress Custom Lobby match.
When selecting “Cancel” at the ship selection screen in “The Reach” zone selection flow, players are now returned back to “The Reach” zone selection rather than the front end lobby
Fixed a discrepancy in the Flash Shield UI icon
Fixed the icon for the “Tactical” Ion Emote in the Starlog menu
Gamepad is now functional for swapping text chat channels by using the right stick.
Fixed the text “Fleet Battle Bonus” UI overlapping the station HUD in Español Latinoamerica
Fixed the text “Starlog Treasure Hunt” overlapping the Daily Missions UI in Español Latinoamerica
Fixed the “Small Crew Bonus” tooltip so it no longer overlaps with the health bar of the Prospector in the Tutorial.
Fixed an issue where “Game Tags” in custom lobbies were overflowing the UI box in multiple languages.
Fixed the Ammo Display options to only display the selected option.
The Repulsor no longer knocks back players through walls
Fixed the Bounty Hunter achievement so it now properly unlocks when the player is the last team standing in Artifact Brawl
Fixed an issue where the Hidden Chamber was spawning “weird” loot tables
Fixed a bug in the Inventory menu where the ship floor items section doesn’t tile into two columns at certain resolutions.
Fixed a rare issue where the player could get stuck in a matchmaking state without being pulled into game
Fixed UI icon for the “Hand Cannon” being an incorrect size.
