Announcement: Updated Development Timeline
Hey everyone, I want to give you a clear update on the current state of Wild West Blast: Reimagined. The original Q4 2025 window isn’t realistic anymore. The project has grown beyond what the old foundation could support, and rebuilding parts of the game properly takes more time than expected. Instead of rushing it, I’m taking the time needed to do it right.
Here’s what’s currently going on behind the scenes:
Patchnotes – Wild West Blast: Reimagined
Restarted the project on a clean base to ensure that all core systems are stable and future-proof. Everything is being rebuilt from the ground up.
Some of the original WWB meshes were reworked to better reflect my current skill level and improve overall consistency.
The visual style has shifted to a stylized look to better match the tone of the game. This means all textures are newly created and hand-crafted.
The weapon system now uses ballistics instead of hitscan. Bullets have travel time and drop, making the combat feel more grounded.
The game modes have expanded:
A revised singleplayer experience
A cooperative option
A first team-deathmatch arena for multiplayer, with room for more modes later on
A more concrete timeline is being shared once the remaining systems are closer to their final form. Thanks for sticking around during the rebuild—there’s a lot still coming.
