A Look Back at Our Journey

Since Early Access began, we have continuously evolved the core gameplay and rolled out major system upgrades:

July 3, 2025: Season 2 "Phantom Fracture" launched.

We introduced new valiant, maps, weapons, and the Achievement system. Based on community feedback, we unlocked all Vanguards for free and allowed simultaneous progression across Battle Passes to smooth out the new player experience.

August–September 2025: Custom Lobbies went from concept to reality.

We iterated on creation rules, reward mechanics, and restrictions. Our goal was for this feature to become a creative space for scrims, strategy testing, community events, and player-driven content.

January 1, 2026: Season 4 "Pursuit" commenced.

New Vanguard Ancia, the Galil weapon, a revamped Supply System, and full Controller Support arrived. Custom Lobbies were also upgraded to be freely accessible with Battle Pass XP enabled.

April 2026: Anniversary & Pre-launch polish.

April 7 saw the results of the 4th Community Co-Creation Initiative, bringing player ideas into the game. On April 10, our Dev Log addressed concerns regarding new seasons, matchmaking, and BOT behavior, while giving the first preview of our PVE mode.

Late April – May 2026: WA DEFENSE Optimization.

April 23: First limited-time beta of WA DEFENSE at RESEARCH RUINS.

April 24: Hotfixes deployed to optimize difficulty scaling for smaller squads, Beast Soul currency pickup, and stability.

April 30: Weapon balancing and BOT engagement logic refined.

May 8: Full mechanics and strategy guide revealed for WA DEFENSE.

This past year wasn't defined by a single update, but by a relentless rhythm of combat refinement, content expansion, and community-driven development.

Full Release Spotlight: WA DEFENSE Goes Live

With the Full Release, Wild Assault sees one of its most significant expansions yet: the official launch of WA DEFENSE.

In this cooperative survival mode, you and your squad drop into the RESEARCH RUINS to defend the Beast Bone Core against six escalating waves of mutated beasts. You must prioritize high-threat targets under heavy pressure, manage resources and upgrades during lulls in combat, and withstand the final onslaught of Elite monsters and the Polluted Juggernaut.

Victory demands more than just firepower—it requires coordination, positioning, and smart decision-making.

We designed WA DEFENSE to offer a distinct alternative to PVP—a new rhythm for players who love cooperative sieges, character progression, and team-based defense.
