changedPlaytime WILL accumulate while looking at the map and while browsing the pause menu in-game. I thought it would be a good idea to do this since speedrunners tend to prefer including time spent browsing menus into their total time. In the full version of the game, time-attack mode—which is meant for speedrunning—will automatically skip cutscenes.

  • Playtime will not accumulate during cutscenes or while loading a level.

  • Older save files from before this update will still work, but will start at 0 for their playtime.
