addedAlong with thoughts on the Main Street level variations (THANK YOU!) I have also gotten a few emails about random tech problems people have run into. I tried to roll all of them into this latest update, so if any of these help issues you've had, then AWWW YEAH! And if not, just let me know what is buggin' ya! 1. WONKY FRAME RATE One player was trying to get WB up and running on their TV, but the framerate just BOMBED. After a few hours of trial and error, we finally found the culprit- the TV had an odd synchronization rate that was throwing it off. The settings screen now has a toggle that lets you disable vsync. If your frame rate is just plain BAD, try that first, and let me know! 2. TERRIBLE FIRST-TIME UI NAVIGATION When WB first shipped I was doing a lot of playtesting on a single keyboard with two users. It was fun, but it means I had to use WASD for one player and the arrows for the second. (It works! You can still go into configurations and set that up, if you so desire!) BUT defaulting the arrows to player 2 made the game WAY CONFUSING for first time users going through the menu. Now, we default to arrows on player 1 along with WASD. If you want to reset your controls entirely for this, that can also be done in the settings page. 3. NOT-SO-DARK VERSION 2 Last patch included a sample of the new idea for making the game less dark, and this patch goes nuts with that concept. Basically, if outside levels like the town or campsite were crazy dark before, now you should be able to see those stars! 4. NETWORK OPTIMIZATION Online is still sittin' purty in Beta mode, but I've kept making tweaks to it to make sure it runs as smoothly as possible. This last round tweaks the packet rate, which means the systems update each other a bit faster and you are less likely to see skating.
