Marianne was born on July 14, 1979, the vagaries of her date of birth made it correspond with the national day of the storming of the Bastille. The first name of their daughter is therefore turned towards this first name, the woman of the revolution.

Marianne grew up in a public housing project near Paris. She defended her friends against others, which earned her the nickname "Rebel" or "Broken arm maker".
