When the Stars Threw Down Their Spears changes
This build includes many significant improvements to the user interface, improves lots of game art, and fixes several bugs
-- Added audio and visual feedback when a player attempts to fire a weapon that is out of ammunition or has been destroyed.
-- Improved dialog scenes so the default scrolling is faster, and pressing the select key will instantly fill in the rest of the dialog
-- Improved in flight hail messages so that they fill in immediately, and also wait for the player to press the interact button to dismiss them (shift on the keyboard or Y on a controller by default).
-- Overhauled graphical appearance of in game UI screens, base backgrounds, and dialog backgrounds as well as several cut scene stills.
-- Reworked aiming reticle to provide an aiming laser sight as well as snapping to targets to help give a better sense of where fired projectiles will go
-- The "Repair" option in bases will now return you to the previous ship you were flying if you are currently in an escape pod (the ship yard will also allow you to switch out, but is no longer the only way to leave an escape pod)
-- Improved asteroid variety and added feedback when an asteroid is damaged, but not destroyed
-- Added a difficulty onboarding screen when starting a new game.
-- Many dialog fixes and improvements
-- Fixed numerous bugs including a situation where pressing both strafe buttons at once could leave a strafe rocket continuing to fire after it was no longer pressed.
