Devlog #2 - Player Stuff & Progress! We're Getting Deeper Into The Abyss

What have I been working on? Player Controller Stuffs Well, still. Mostly it's just been the player controller and how it functions and runs around and how the audio works on it.

addedWell, still. Mostly it's just been the player controller and how it functions and runs around and how the audio works on it. I added a system where the footsteps will change depending on where the player is. And is there rain? (and yes, there will be RAIN in the game, pretty awesome right?)
addedNotice how there isn't anything below him? Well, there isn't any particles, like smoke, or dust. I have added this now so it looks better and overall just looks more appealing to the scene. I made this system to where I can change it when I want, so wherever the player is located, these particles will change.

Let's take an example, okay? Let me show you an old running / walking gif from my previous devlog.

Notice how there isn't anything below him? Well, there isn't any particles, like smoke, or dust. I have added this now so it looks better and overall just looks more appealing to the scene. Story / Art

Can't say much on this, or share much, but aye. This is what I've been really working on behind the scenes, so hey. While I'm a college student, this is the stuff that slows me down the most, the art stuff. But it's also pretty interesting. I've managed to switch over to Maya, that fun 3D software, to get my models now. So by the end of development, stuff is going to look a LOT better than it does now. Because I currently use Sketchup 3D, as poor as that is.

The story is progressing, and so is the art. Please know this. The story is written, but it's being developed when it comes to art, and programming.
