Weather the Swarm changes
We've been hard at work on Weather the Swarm, and first of all, thank you for taking part in our very first playtest release. While this is the main game page. If you didn’t know, we’re a brand new studio with a small team, so building an ambitious project like this takes time — and your support truly means a lot.
The Boss Fight Is Here
Our latest update is live, and it’s a big one.
You can now face a boss at the end of the first three levels — and trust us, it won’t be easy. Even we can only beat it sometimes, and only after a lot of effort.
This update also includes:
Quality of Life improvements (you can now see the power-ups you’ve collected in the pause menu)
A brand-new tutorial, perfect if you’re new to the game or unsure about the core mechanics
General balancing tweaks and bug fixes, based directly on your feedback (thank you!)

Enemy Spawner Destruction - Enemy spawners can now be destroyed
Ceiling Bomber Enemy - New enemy type that crawls on ceilings

Player Health - Reduced from 800 to 500
Weapon System - Reduced from two weapon slots to one
Weapon balacing - Changed the DPS of various weapons

Jet-boots Activation - Now activate also by holding the jump button instead of tapping
Start Menu - Added hover effects and audio feedback
Level Up Binding - Changed the key binding for level up action
Low Health Indicator - Screen overlay turns red with audio cue when health is low
Flying Enemy Hitboxes - Improved collision detection and hitbox accuracy
Movement - Improved fall detection for single-tile gaps
Controller Support - Significantly improved aim and movement responsiveness for gamepad users
Controller Support on UI - Significantly improved navigation of game panels via controler
Graphical Improvements
Swarm Timer - Custom-designed UI element for swarm countdown
Blue Shooting Enemy - Visual polish and animation improvements
Weapon Panel - Redesigned weapon selection interface
Destructible Props - Props now properly fall and get destroyed after bomb explosions (fixed floating grass issue)
Escape Arrow - Updated visual design
Swarm Wasp - Updated visual design
