Waterpunk: Through the Rust changes
On the occasion of the launch of Steam Bullet Fest 2026, I have released an update for the demo version of Waterpunk!
List of major changes and improvements:
The progression system has been completely redesigned. Now the player chooses two perks at once - day and night.
Expanded meta-progression. Now, in the starting location, you can meet NPCs who give mini-quests, after completing which you can get permanent improvements.
Added barriers to levels that work differently during the day and at night.
Improved the save system.
Improved visual. In particular, the cel-shading effect.
New enemies.
Improved balance.
Improved enemy behavior.
