Waterjacked! changes
Happy Saturday, Valley Dwellers! We've got a fresh patch for ya!
Known Issues 😔
The cost previews in-game are a little large and overlapping. We are overhauling these in the next patch.
Shop Items are a little hard to distinguish now that there is such a variety. We are working on revised banners and mats to help differentiate between item types.
Enemies now only flash red when they take damage. We are working on a system that lets us flag which states the enemies can play their unique damage animation in without looking janky.
Keyboard binds have " - Physical" after them, which we are working to remove.
Right-clicking while your cursor is over the Modbelt does not process backing out of the current editor mode.
Bug Fixes 🪲
Fixed z-index clipping of bullets when the Player shot a robot.
Fixed a bug that prevented icons for how Modules affect projectile paths from showing.
Fixed a bug that prevented Cactus Jack from animating his gun between rounds.
Fixed a bug that let the Circuit Bus redirect a module even when it was powered off.
A few fixes for the tutorial.
Adjustments 🛠️
Moved the Maps Stats Hud from the bottom left to the bottom right to make room for expanding the shop
Which, on that note, the shop now has 12 items for sale, up from 8.
Slightly adjusted the shop's ratios so Augments are a little more common in the shop.
The Modbelt now closes itself when you start placing a Module to help prevent overlapping issues when placing on a large GRID.
The tutorial had all placeholder references for key binds replaced with proper ones. These update based on your keybinds as well.
There is now a red border on the GRID. Any GRID slots that are shifted outside of this border will fall off.
Content 🌵
The Puddle Jumper now has its death animation! Their other animations also received a handful of tweaks.
The RAM Stick Module has been added! You can now expand the GRID as you see fit! These can be placed outside of the GRID boundaries, but be careful....
The options menu has a new setting - Keybinds! You can rebind the game keys to whatever you see fit.
You can now re-roll the shop!
Added various new sounds!
New artwork for Herbals!
What's Next?
With VT Sci-Fi and Fantasy coming up, we're gonna be focusing our efforts on getting ready for that expo. This means our next patch won't ship until April 24th, the Friday before the expo starts. We'll be introducing a set of new Modules for you to mess around with, along with some other items we have in the works.
