addedGreetings fellow Water Delivery personnel from the development team over here at Frozen Lake Software! We hope you all had a great new year's celebration, and we wish you all the best here in 2025! As we continue to develop our next upcoming game, we wanted to go back to Water Delivery and make some major updates to the game for a number of reasons. This 1.1 update comes with a bunch of new things and improvements. These changes include things such as updated language support options, updated the game engine to the latest version, a host of new optimizations to improve performance for all players across all types of PC configurations, and lots of bug fixes. This update comes with a number of performance improvements for the game. We have found that on some lower end machines, we have seen an over 200% increase in performance in certain sections of the game, with a massive decrease in stuttering for players on low-end hardware. Below you will find the official list of updates to the game. Take care everyone, and we hope you enjoy these latest updates to Water Delivery. Stay tuned for the announcement of our upcoming horror game.
addedAdded support for five new languages into the game: Polish , Turkish , Ukrainian , Vietnamese , and Indonesian .
changedUpgraded game engine from Unreal Engine 5.4.4 to Unreal Engine 5.5.1
changedReplaced the existing LOD system with Nanite, which drastically improved performance for some low-end machines.
changedReduced complexity and made improvements on the sky atmosphere, global illumination and weather systems to improve overall performance.
changedIncreased ambient lighting in some areas of the game so that it wouldn't be pitch black.

  • Added support for five new languages into the game: Polish, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, and Indonesian.

  • Upgraded game engine from Unreal Engine 5.4.4 to Unreal Engine 5.5.1

  • Replaced the existing LOD system with Nanite, which drastically improved performance for some low-end machines.

  • Reduced complexity and made improvements on the sky atmosphere, global illumination and weather systems to improve overall performance.

  • Increased ambient lighting in some areas of the game so that it wouldn't be pitch black.

  • Updated the navigation system for AI controlled enemies to improve system performance, as well as improve the pathing algorithm so that AI wouldn't get stuck in awkward places and positions as they did in the original version.

  • In addition to the above updates, we have a lot of the gameplay related bugs that were reported by players, streamers and our internal development team.
