Warped Universe changes
With the new Residuum maps included in our recent patches, we decided to make a new gameplay trailer, now added to the Steam page as well as here on Youtube:
Residuum is everything in Warped Universe. It is the source of all matter and life, and you need it to expand the solar system.
These missions matter because that resource gets fed into the Planet Printer built into the underside of Nexus Station. Planets start out in a rocky birthing state, but collecting Residuum actively evolves them into a "printed state" that you can experience. Each planet has different environments that get unlocked with Residuum missions.
Dive into fast-paced combat on low gravity asteroids, on ground or in space flight (your choice), and break up raw Residuum clusters before the Void claims them for themselves.
If you don't see any Residuum missions on the map right now, work on a Pylon sector. Doing that will either unlock a Residuum mission or a brand new planet to evolve, which will need more Residuum missions completed. We've also added new Pylon maps this month as well that update and evolve to reflect their status. More to come on those.
Jump in now, Warped Universe is free to play!
