Version 1.0.3.1 Patch notes:
The Warmonium development team have been hard at work ironing out bugs, implementing new features, working on AI behaviours and improving user interface elements. Some specific tasks included developing Horde game mode, implementing fixed camera locations for tutorial steps, tutorial bugs, improving AI behaviour tree experiments and fixing various AI ability bugs such as the stun grenade and detonate stalls.
Other improvements included working on sound volume fixes, the single player main classes, the endgame screen for single player rework and some UI improvements.
Today a quick fix for the map editor has been pushed. There was an issue with the map save data preventing players from saving, downloading and loading maps.
Complete overhaul of world meshes on Mystic Earth, Ralmane, Rocky Grounds and Fight Pit • Fixed issue with tutorial where it would load your previous map instead of Mystic Earth. • Fixed Woodland Watch hands in Blender - made a new idle animation • Improved particles for figures within Emporium • Fixed ability description texts in deck builder • Singleplayer main classes made, AI blade behaviour now at rudimentary level • Horde game mode developed • Endgame screen for singleplayer rework now implemented • Added Round finish UI • AI Blades will now use the active ability Sacrifice when Thearc is less than 50% health • AI Blades will now use Torment • AI Thearc will now use Animate Bones • AI Thearc will now use Enchanted Inspiration • AI Thearc will now use darkness within • Improved control flow between AI units • Improved Thearc behaviour tree to make better decisions with using all abilities • Fixed ability warning messages while AI units are in control (such as cancelled summon) • AI Thearc will now prefer non water tiles if available when using Animate Bones • AI Thearc will no longer target lava tiles when using Animate Bones • Improved behaviour tree of AI navigation task • Implemented Main menu camera movement • Enchanted barb SFX volume issue fixed • Game finish by timer result changed to draw • Random AI end turns have been fixed (probably not.. We can hope though) • Made a dispatcher for abilities to finish execute, instead of using a delay • Fixed bug where AI units could attack invisible units • Fixed a bug faced where AI unit was attacking through wall, added LoS check to prevent this • Improved tutorial voice over timing • Figures and dice now spin within the Emporium • Improved scroll bar UI - Increased thickness 100% • Parallax card movement with mouse cursor is being tested and rolled out • Fixed camera locations for tutorial steps
Next week we'll see a huge change to the game with the removal of SQUAD FORCE mechanic from the base game mode. Squad Force will be moved to its own game mode called - Classic. 🤯 More info will be available in next weeks patch log so stay tuned!
