fixedWe want to apologize for the delay in the early access launch of our game. While we had hoped to release the game on Steam earlier, we encountered several build errors that needed to be addressed before we could proceed. We have since re-uploaded the game and have been approved for publishing, but there are still a few remaining game breaking bugs that need to be fixed before we can launch.
fixedWe know how excited you all are to play the game and we share that excitement, but we also want to ensure that your experience is the best it can be. Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to delay the launch until we can fix these major issues. We expect to have them resolved by the end of January.
changedWe want to express our heartfelt gratitude to the incredible Alpha Crew who have supported us and provided valuable feedback during the testing phase. The Alpha build will continue to be available for those interested in experimenting with game mechanics and features.
fixedWe have been working hard to fix numerous game breaking bugs and have a long list of known minor bugs that we are continuing to address. Here is a list of everything we have fixed this month:
changedCarnal now activates on placement after the match start - Knockback is no longer possible on invisible units - The Warshield report has been added - The examine menu now shows cooldowns for both players - Tidal whip now damages teammates as well - The combat log for Stunforce now correctly displays -1 attack - Downhill momentum now correctly displays 1 damage in the combat report - Projectile Pavise no longer hits units without line of sight - Momentous boulder now correctly applies to only one unit when attacking - Tower limit now works correctly for Daxious - Line of sight through volcano has been fixed - Spear barricade no longer hurts TMT (gatling rail) units - Sacrifice now only restores 5 HP or 5% of maximum HP (previously could restore 0 HP) - Blade's disease debuff no longer persists after the unit is defeated - The safe path toggle now works for all players - integrity now activates correctly after leaving adjacent terrain - Dranic no longer gains war shield when teleporting next to Bismuth - War shield is now removed when teleporting (Dranic no longer gains war shield after teleport) - War shield now activates on placement after game start - Bismuth's war shield no longer persists after the unit is defeated - Bismuth's war shield no longer disappears on the first move - When someone leaves the lobby and rejoins, the match state is now reset - Dranic spawn sound has been fixed - A 10 second timer has been added - An endgame screen with in-match statistics has been added - Ability text has been formalized to a standard across in game UI - Each new player now starts with 4 dice - Loading screen music has been changed - Damage dealt has been added to statistics - The map editor now correctly displays valid spawn tiles in green - Custom game wins have been added to statistics

December 8th - 15th

December 1st - 7th

  • Pathfinding issues were fixed after a unit died by disengagement. - Call Thunder was causing multiple instances of damage, but this issue has been fixed - Ghost units that would be damaged by "call thunder" were appearing during placement, but this issue has been resolved. - Commander Sheoaks active abilities were consuming the normal attack, this issue has been fixed - The "play" button was removed from the main menu deck builder. - The "play" button was removed from the war scroll after it was opened from the map editor and then closed - The "your turn" banner sometimes displayed the wrong colour when a turn started, but this issue has been fixed - The "play" button was removed from the Deck Builder. Fall damage was bundling together when a unit took fall damage onto a lava tile, but this issue has been fixed - The morph sound and particle were activating when a unit moved through an invisible unit, but this issue has been resolved. - Failure 5 has been fixed. - The bounty report was checked and fixed - The tidal whip ability was causing damage to the "Dranic" unit three times, but this issue has been fixed. - Call Thunder was causing multiple instances of damage, but this issue has been fixed. - Projectile Pavise was causing damage between gaps (this was also tested with height differences) - There was an issue with client damage caused by the Projectile Pavise ability, but this issue has been resolved - Animate Spear was causing the incredible reflex passive ability to activate - Earthshake was not stacking as intended, but this issue has been resolved. - The "pathfinding safe path toggle true" feature was not working as intended. - Vetalia can now move with 0 movement points on water. - The new health bar for malfunction was not functioning properly. - The scroll box for card placement was lowered. - A new navigation method for the safe path feature was implemented. - The speed of the Integrity particle effect was decreased by 200%. - The "bounty" ability was playing its animation even when it was not being activated. - The death sound for the Dranic unit was fixed. - The sound for Conical Flail ability was fixed - The sound for Call Thunder ability was fixed. - The text for when a tower could not be built was changed to "cannot build there." - The text for invalid unit selections for abilities that can be used on all units was changed. - Bounty was made to work for all players. - The issue with units floating when selecting them was fixed. - The sheoak unit was fixed. - The damage for Curve Shot and Piercing Arrow was fixed. - Phyto was increased by 1 for each turn. - The "fix markers" feature was made to only show for a player's team. - Restore Essence height check was restored.

We also have a list of known bugs so far that we will tackle in Q1 2023: - ABOTH: Momentous boulder applies to random opponent figures after attacking - BISMUTH: Conical Flail animation does not play after activation intermittently on client side - BISMUTH: Knockback works on invisible units - BISMUTH: Particle effects of all active and passive abilities to be updated to improve visual feedback - BLADES: Graphical glitch causing Disease passive to reset and proc each turn - BLADES: Stench status effect is not updating correctly on client and host - CAMERA: Incorrectly calculating the live position of face camera when switching between figures - CARNAL: Particle effects to be updated to improve visual feedback - DAXIOUS: Projectile Pavise Incorrectly displaying combat dice rolls in combat log - DAXIOUS: Intermittent issue with Integrity not activating during the game - DAXIOUS: Limit on buildings not activating - FOG OF WAR: Intermittent issue revealing your placement to your enemy before placement phase has ended - HEFILDR: Stalactite release is not targeting adjacent figures - HEFILDR: The volcano from volcanic pressure blocks movement and the smoke will block LOS - HUKATO: SFX require overhaul with miss matched sounds and missing queues - HUKATO: While moving there is a noticeable amount of dropped frames - LAVAROCK: Using attack all feature incorrectly calculates the correct damage - PATHFINDING: Intermittent movement issue with experimental safe path, global block on all figure movement - PHYTO: Movement buff removes itself after moving off of Grass / Jungle biome - SELECTION: Intermittent bug when turn timer set to 10 seconds with 5 minute game timer - SERVER: If you disconnect from a P2P session the game will end. We are working on a saved game state and the mechanic to re-connect! - SFX: Figure SFX may still play even when the game sounds are muted - SFX: SFX may be much louder than intended intermittently - SHEOAK: Intermittent visibility issue after placement - SHEOAK: SFX require overhaul with miss matched sounds and missing queues - TMT: Gatling Rail is broken and not calculating LOS properly - TMT: When shooting a Projectile Pavise with range there is no attack animation or projectile - TMT: Intermittent issue projectile shoots at 0.01% speed - VETALIA: Intermittent issue with Tidal Whip not damaging all enemies - VETALIA: While moving across water there is a noticeable amount of dropped frames - WARVISOR: Intermittent Issue with smokescreen and sentry towers. Warvisors stay invisible the turn smokescreen is activated.
