New Content

Golden Trail Event

The familiar Brawl PvP mode will be available as the featured PvP activity. Here's a quick reminder of how the mode works. Once players are divided into two teams, the match begins. To win, your team must score the required number of eliminations before the enemy team does, or simply have more eliminations when the timer runs out. However, achieving victory won't be easy, as you'll have to fight under unusual conditions using special power-ups, whose activation can completely turn the tide of battle!

In addition to the PvP mode, event currency can be earned in PvE missions and by completing contracts. Collect currency and exchange it for unique items in the event shop: Gold Nugget weapons and camouflages, the Great Dragon series kiridashi knife, golden weapons, and other valuable rewards!

The Golden Trail event will launch in the first half of June. Stay tuned for more news!

SI PS90

A compact semi-automatic bullpup carbine developed on the basis of the FN P90. Like its predecessor, it features a high-capacity magazine, excellent reliability, and low recoil, while the new Strike Industries chassis expands attachment options and improves combat ergonomics.

The weapon's key feature is the ability to equip an underbarrel grenade launcher, which can prove decisive when bullets are no longer enough!

Agent Sukhoi

From an early age, he grew accustomed to discipline and strictness, while constant relocations taught him how to quickly assess situations and find common ground with everyone, from classmates to teachers. During his military service, he visited many parts of the world, and after leaving the army, he became a freelance mercenary. Having learned about Blackwood's presence in his home region, he decided to assist Warface as an informant and guide. His weapon of choice is the SI PS90 Desert Phantom submachine gun, which has never let him down.

The agent will become available in-game during June. Stay tuned for more news!

Technical Improvements

AMD Radeon™ Anti-Lag 2

Support for AMD Radeon™ Anti-Lag 2 has been added.

Reducing the delay between a mouse click and the image appearing on screen is critically important for delivering a high-quality gaming experience, especially in fast-paced competitive shooters. In games like these, reaction speed matters, and lower latency can have a significant impact on player performance.

This delay occurs at various stages of system operation, from the moment a user provides input via mouse and keyboard to the moment the resulting image reaches the player's eyes. This is known as end-to-end latency.

While developers cannot influence factors such as input device or display latency, the game itself can be optimized to a much greater extent.

Higher frame rates have an almost linear effect on reducing in-game latency, but achieving them usually requires lowering image quality or resolution.

One of the most important factors is the delay between player input and the moment the image is sent to the monitor.

This is where Anti-Lag technology comes into play. It is designed for PCs equipped with AMD Radeon graphics cards and serves as an alternative to NVIDIA Reflex for NVIDIA GPUs.

Important! Some software installed on a user's PC may block AMD Radeon™ Anti-Lag 2. One example is RenderDoc. For the technology to function correctly, all third-party software should be disabled before launching Warface.

Game Server Optimization

Game server optimizations have been implemented, including the following improvements:

  • improved game mode state update processing;

  • optimized game metric transmission;

  • fixed issues causing unnecessary player state synchronizations;

  • optimized server memory usage;

  • improved the character movement change detection algorithm;

  • increased the FPS limit for unfocused windows from 30 to 60 to minimize movement synchronization issues during combat.

Miscellaneous

  • Updated icons for low FPS, packet loss, and high ping indicators.

  • Added a new indicator for server-side anti-cheat system triggers. This indicator shows that a player's actions were considered suspicious or that commands contained invalid parameters. In most cases, you will never see this indicator, but in certain situations it will help the project team investigate false positives, which is important for proper anti-cheat tuning.

Content Changes

Important

Implemented a system for removing expired items from storage.

A large number of expired items can negatively impact character stability and are one of the causes of the "Channel Change" error when logging into the game.

Expired items will now be automatically removed from storage 7 days after their expiration date.

Weapons and Gear

  • MPAR-556reduced recoil strength and recoil randomness during sustained fire.

PvP

Warface+

The map ban logic in the Warface+ service has been changed: once the service expires, previously banned maps will retain the same matchmaking weight as all other Ranked Match maps and will no longer appear as frequently as they did before summer 2026.

Miscellaneous

  • Brawl: Grenadiers and Pyromaniacs can no longer switch weapons while under the effect of a power-up.

  • Removed the ability to leave a group while waiting in a Ranked Match room for a battle to start.

  • Added a notification informing players in higher Ranked Match leagues when points are deducted due to inactivity.

  • In Ranked Matches, if a player disconnects from a match, they will now remain visible in the team list when pressing TAB, and a new icon will appear next to their nickname indicating that they have left the game.

  • Ranked Matches are now available to players starting from level 30.

  • Dockthe map has been disabled due to performance issues. It will return in the future after additional improvements and optimization.
  • Updated PvP mode descriptions have been added.

  • For all new accounts, access to Ranked Matches is now unlocked only after achieving 10 victories in any PvP mode.

  • Added a notification for squad leaders ("brackets") informing them that some squad members do not have enough PvP matches played, preventing matchmaking from being launched.

  • Once Warface+ expires, weapons stored in the Armory will now be automatically removed from it.

PvE and Special Operations

The time allowed for joining an already running Campaign match has been reduced to 90 seconds (previously 300 seconds).

Legacy Weapon Improvements

Cobray Striker, Steyr Scout (including their Special versions), and the Lupara Sawed-Off have received stat upgrades to bring them in line with the current weapon meta. Time to dust them off and take them back into battle!

Interface

HUD

The gradual migration of the HUD from Flash to the modern Coherent graphics engine continues. Another group of interface elements has been moved to the new technology. The current list of elements transferred to the new engine includes:

  • the speaking player icon;

  • the weapon switch panel;

  • the device placement indicator;

  • the achievement earned indicator in matches and lobbies;

  • the danger zone notification (for PvE);

  • the information panel above the character in the post-match screen;

  • the elimination and combo elimination counter;

  • the grenade fuse timer indicator;

  • messages about side switching, round completion, and resource acquisition in certain Special Operations;

  • the bomb status message in Plant the Bomb mode;

  • the flag status message in Capture mode;

  • the currency panel in certain Special Operations;

  • the spectator panel;

  • the current stage information panel in certain Special Operations;

  • the quick command panel (F1–F4);

  • Fixed an issue that caused squad members ("brackets") to be displayed incorrectly during matches in certain cases.

  • Fixed an issue where players on the winning team would appear in losing poses (with lowered heads) on the victory screen after a surrender.

  • Fixed an issue that could cause other players' gunshot sounds to be duplicated when viewed from a third-person perspective.

  • Fixed an issue that caused squads ("brackets") to be displayed incorrectly during matches in certain situations.

PvE and Special Operations

  • Blackout Special Operationfixed an issue where Blackwood soldiers would not spawn if the zombies chasing the vehicle were left alive.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented the Blackout Special Operation from being launched on Professional difficulty.

Miscellaneous

  • English and Chinese localizations have been added. Players can now create characters and clans using Latin characters.

Important: some users have exploited a vulnerability on the website to illegitimately claim certain callsigns. All affected callsigns will be renamed, and sanctions will be applied to the associated accounts.

  • Fixed an issue where the Warface+ description text overlapped text in the About Ranked Matches section.

  • Fixed an issue where the voice chat indicator could remain visible in the lobby after a match ended.

  • Fixed an issue where pressing ESC while the TAB window was open could freeze the match scoreboard.

  • Fixed an issue where clan invitation notifications would reappear when receiving a friend request or removing someone from the friends list.

  • Fixed an issue where player names could be displayed incorrectly in the TAB menu if the nickname contained a large number of characters.

  • Fixed an issue where the vote-kick window overlapped the text chat.

  • Fixed an issue where the post-match victory screen was displayed incorrectly on monitors with 4:3 and 21:9 aspect ratios.

  • Fixed an issue where clan rank change notifications were missing text.

  • Fixed an issue where the third column in the achievements window was not displayed completely.

  • Fixed localization issuesadded missing texts, corrected inconsistencies, and made other minor improvements.
