War Mechanic changes
A Year in Review. Thank You for Being Part of It.
As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to pause, look back, and say one simple thing first.
Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who joined our Discord, shared feedback, asked tough questions, and followed the development of War Mechanic from the very beginning.
Thank you to everyone who added the game to their wishlist and followed the project on Steam.
Thank you to the entire Chronospace team for your commitment, creativity, and countless hours invested in this project throughout the year.
This year was an important one for War Mechanic.
Looking Back at 2025
Over the past months, we shared several devlogs that brought you closer to the game and its core ideas. On Steam, you could follow our progress through:
Devlog #2 - Guns & Guts
Devlog #2.5 - Weather of Nordock
Devlog #3 - All About experience
Each of these updates helped us explain not just what War Mechanic is, but why it works the way it does.
May also mark a very special moment for us. We brought War Mechanic to Digital Dragons in Kraków, where many of you had the chance to play the current version of the game hands-on. Meeting players in person, watching you explore Nordhook, and hearing your thoughts directly was an invaluable experience and a strong validation of the direction we are heading.
One of the biggest moments of the year was our gameplay reveal. Across all platforms and media outlets, it reached millions of views, followed by over 200 publications and articles worldwide. Seeing War Mechanic discussed, analyzed, and shared on such a scale was both surreal and incredibly motivating.
On top of that, we confirmed that War Mechanic will launch not only on Steam, but also on GOG and the Epic Games Store, allowing even more players to join us on Nordhook.
Looking Ahead
We will not reveal too much just yet.
One of the major steps ahead is our Kickstarter campaign. This will not be just about funding, but about opening the doors wider and giving the community a real opportunity to engage with the production of War Mechanic and help shape its final form.
We are also actively working on a playable demo. We will share it only when we feel it truly represents the quality and experience we want War Mechanic to be known for. When that moment arrives, you can be assured that our community will be invited to participate in playtests and share feedback that genuinely matters.
Until Then
As we slow things down for a short break, we want to wish you a great end to the year and a strong start to the next one. Whether you spend it with family, friends, or finally playing through that backlog of games, we hope it treats you well.
Thank you for your trust, your patience, and your support. We cannot wait to continue this journey with you in the year ahead.
See you in 2026,
The Chronospace Team
