changedSince the second test of War Alert began on June 11, 2026 , we have received enthusiastic feedback from players across multiple channels. We would like to sincerely thank every player who has participated in this test.
addedAfter a comprehensive assessment of the scale and severity of the issues exposed during this test, we have decided to adjust the follow-up testing plan: the second test phase will be extended, and future updates will be released on an irregular schedule. The new testing and version update schedule will be announced separately based on development progress.
addedGame StabilityQ: Frequent game crashes A: During this test, we identified crashes triggered through multiple paths, including rendering mode switching, shader compilation, and specific UI operations. We have begun investigating and fixing these issues path by path, and will add preventive handling in future versions to avoid situations where players cannot enter the game due to settings changes.
changedGame StabilityQ: Peripheral and input method compatibility issues A: Some players reported abnormal mouse cursor behavior, controller interference that prevented normal operation, and similar issues, with normal controls only recovering after unplugging the keyboard. In future versions, we will fix the mouse-centering logic and peripheral compatibility issues to ensure a proper Keyboard & Mouse experience.
changedGame StabilityQ: Server overload on the first day of testing A: On the first day of the test, concurrent player numbers exceeded our estimates, causing the servers to reach full capacity and preventing some players from entering the game normally. Server capacity expansion has now been completed to ensure load balancing for battle servers.
changedControls and ExperienceQ: Insufficient battle camera zoom range A: We have appropriately increased the upper limit of the default battle camera height.

Dear Commanders,

Since the second test of War Alert began on June 11, 2026, we have received enthusiastic feedback from players across multiple channels. We would like to sincerely thank every player who has participated in this test.

After a comprehensive assessment of the scale and severity of the issues exposed during this test, we have decided to adjust the follow-up testing plan: the second test phase will be extended, and future updates will be released on an irregular schedule. The new testing and version update schedule will be announced separately based on development progress.

I. Confirmed Major Issues and Solutions

Below are the issues most frequently reported during the test, along with our current plans for addressing them:

Game Stability

Q: Frequent game crashes A: During this test, we identified crashes triggered through multiple paths, including rendering mode switching, shader compilation, and specific UI operations. We have begun investigating and fixing these issues path by path, and will add preventive handling in future versions to avoid situations where players cannot enter the game due to settings changes.

Q: Peripheral and input method compatibility issues A: Some players reported abnormal mouse cursor behavior, controller interference that prevented normal operation, and similar issues, with normal controls only recovering after unplugging the keyboard. In future versions, we will fix the mouse-centering logic and peripheral compatibility issues to ensure a proper Keyboard & Mouse experience.

Q: Server overload on the first day of testing A: On the first day of the test, concurrent player numbers exceeded our estimates, causing the servers to reach full capacity and preventing some players from entering the game normally. Server capacity expansion has now been completed to ensure load balancing for battle servers.

Controls and Experience

Q: Insufficient battle camera zoom range A: We have appropriately increased the upper limit of the default battle camera height.

Q: Low frame rate on low-spec devices A: Some devices with integrated graphics are running below a normally playable frame rate, and there is also an issue where CPU usage remains at full load after a match ends. We will attempt targeted optimizations to the rendering pipeline, with the goal of bringing integrated graphics devices to an acceptable frame rate.

UI and Text

Q: Translation quality issues A: Multilingual text, including English, Russian, and other languages, will be proofread and corrected in stages.

Sound Effects and Voice

Q: Missing audio, repeated background music, and repeated unit voice lines A: We are currently addressing the obvious missing audio issues in battles, and will further add more sound effects, music, voice lines, and related content.

II. About "Irregular Updates"

  • The update time for each version will depend on development progress, with no fixed schedule;

  • New features developed during production will be released through version updates for players to test and verify;

  • Development progress will continue to be shared through the Steam store page and official community channels.

III. Closing

This test has exposed many issues. Next, the team will fully focus on version development, issue fixing, and experience polishing. Thank you, Commanders, for your patience and support. Please stay tuned.
