addedWe're putting the finishing touches on the next content update which will be dropping later this week! We've already covered the new Hacker role in the last dev blog, but now we are ready to reveal our most colossal global event yet: The Kaiju Battle!
changedWhen the Kaiju Battle global event begins, a meter similar to the one in the Big Game global event will appear, showing the status of the fight between the two titans. Players will be able to choose a side by visiting Clucker's or the Bank and throw their lot in with either side. Do aid their giant monster, players may collect propaganda posters and hang them up around town, or do special repeatable quests.
changedSteam post imagePosters may be collected at either Clucker's or the Stock Market, and if a player has one in their inventory they may hang it up in multiple locations to bolster their side. However, only one poster may be hung up in each location, so the opposing sides must fight to keep their posters up in a feud reminiscent of a Looney Tunes' classic: Duck Season! Rabbit Season!
changedSo what happens after the fight? Well, if Clucker's is victorious, the Stock Market will crash, and all players who aided Clucker's more than the Stock Market will be rewarded with gift cards at Clucker's! However, if the Stock Market is victorious, stocks will soar in value while Clucker's will become more expensive for several rounds, and Stock Market supporters will be rewarded with some treasure! 'Allo 'allo!

We're putting the finishing touches on the next content update which will be dropping later this week! We've already covered the new Hacker role in the last dev blog, but now we are ready to reveal our most colossal global event yet: The Kaiju Battle!

Steam post image Physical manifestations of the most powerful entities in the world, the stock market and the fast food industry, are duking it out in a battle that has completely emptied our VFX budget! The result of this feud will have drastic implications on your games, but luckily, you'll have a say in who will win and who will lose!

There are also repeatable quests for each side which we won't spoil for you just yet, but here are some teasers from the art. What the heck is going on here?Steam post image

So what happens after the fight? Well, if Clucker's is victorious, the Stock Market will crash, and all players who aided Clucker's more than the Stock Market will be rewarded with gift cards at Clucker's! However, if the Stock Market is victorious, stocks will soar in value while Clucker's will become more expensive for several rounds, and Stock Market supporters will be rewarded with some treasure! Choose your side carefully and see if you can gain an edge by manipulating the Stock Market in either direction!

Finally, once again, we'd like to implore any of you that haven't given us a review yet to do so, it really helps review-hungry, smaller developers like us!

That's it for now! Get ready for an awesome update later this week!
