Hæ!
The wait towards full release is getting shorter, and we have a metric boatload of new content we're excited for you to try out. We have also been polishing some of the older content in the game that has been there since the Early Access launch and aged a bit poorly compared to our newer stuff.
The art style for the roles has changed a bit since launch, and the Workaholic, Senior, and Shopaholic felt a bit underdressed compared to the newer roster. That's why we've gotten them clothed. Have a gander!
Getting these nudists all draped up should make things a little more consistent. Sorry to all of you that are big fans of senior citizen nudity.
We've also made some balance changes to a number of roles that will make it into the game by launch.
We reduced the score for quests, which should hit the Adventurer a bit. We also increased the score you gain for education and work XP, which should please the Workaholics out there.
The Shopaholic got a much needed buff when we gave the role relax bonuses upon purchase of furniture, but the role accidentally received sleep bonuses upon purchase as well, making a weird buy/sell economy of beds a part of the role's optimal playstyle. We've gotten rid of that nonsense.
The Senior is meant to kick back and do things other than working for the most part, but we felt the time penalty was the wrong way to encourage that. We've replaced the work time penalty with an increased attribute penalty, meaning that seniors who wish to put in some hours will be able to do so and make better use of their complain actions.
The Drifter's cash and work XP bonuses got decreased a while back, and we may have overdone it. We've rolled back the cash nerf to see where the role stands. The new job perks in Chailand might also open up new strategies for the role, so we'll be keeping an eye on them. What on earth could these perks do?
Finally, the Scavenger has felt a little weak. This is in part because one of the role's scavengeable items didn't make it into the game. After full release, you'll be able to find a little something that will help the Scavenger make it through school a bit faster, granting the role a potential education score boost.
Finally, we made some tuneups to the Mystic's visuals. The role is performing well in testing and we're super excited for you guys to try it!
Steam post imageFinally, we'd like to thank all of you for the fantastic reviews the game has received - it really helps smaller developers like us! Please drop us one if you haven't already and let us know what you think about the game! We're almost there, guys! Less than two weeks, now!
