Today I've released v1.2.0 of VRogue!

Changelog

VR:

  • Stairs now have 4 sets of “elevator” buttons for easier navigation; just poke the ‘up’ or ‘down’ button to ascend/descend stairs rather than the finicky point-the-controller-up-or-down-and-hold-trigger method (though this will still work).

Rogue:

  • By putting your hand in the “Call” button on the inventory screen, or grabbing and dragging an item to the button, you can now use a VR keyboard to give an item a name. This is equivalent to Rogue’s ‘call’ command.

  • When you use an unidentified potion or scroll (and doing so does not identify it), you will be prompted to give it a name as well.

Bugs:

  • Doors are no longer shown when a monster is standing on a door tile.

  • Fixed an issue where a monster could be stuck waiting for a ranged weapon to hit it, leading to it visually not moving (but, in actuality, it would be invisibly heading directly for the player)
