It is with great pleasure that, after 250+ hours of work, VRogue - the classic Rogue that started the -like genre now ported to VR - is released!
Key Features Mostly Cribbed From My Prelaunch Announcement:
Classic Rogue Gameplay - this is the actual Rogue engine, ported to C#. Monsters, potions, everything acts exactly as it did 40 years ago.
But in VR! - The world looks like you're in the ASCII dungeon of yore.
Loot - I mean, it's all unidentified to start with but hey! What's the worst this potion could do?
Procedural Generation and Permadeath: Just like the original Rogue, every playthrough is unique... and each death means starting over from scratch.
VRogue is 15% off for its launch, just in time for Steam VR Fest.
