VoltHaven changes
Hi grid builders!
Another busy month is behind us and current heat wave is not helping.
But it was an inspiration to one new feature: now you can upgrade customers' structures with air conditioning and some other appliances. Use this to change to energy profile that better fits your grid setup, or just up the consumption for more earnings.
Other features that were implemented:
use right mouse button to reposition all related structures at once (e.g. substation with all its customers)
commodities now have dynamic prices respecting seasonality
implemented batteries self-discharge
generator idle power (minimum that power plant generates even if not required)
power plant blocks - that can be turned off when idle
changed internal simulation computations - this is not very visible to player but it helped resolve some bugs
other minor bug fixes not related to simulation
Demo was updated with all the features and fixes. It does not have power plant with blocks (bigger plants are intended for late game), so no use for that one.
Heat wave should be soon over for us and hopefully next month will be reasonably productive too.
