Voltage High Society changes
Hi,
So now that we're out of Early Access and somehow survived the launch (and those awful two weeks of patches and bughunting), it's time to look at how things went and what's ahead of us!
First of all, thank you! The reviews, feedback and support everybody's showering us with has been nothing short of amazing. We've looked through every video, stream, discussion topic, discord message, email, and its just super cool how such an odd game genuinely connects with folks.
We're also taking responsibility for the jank and the bug reports received, and we try to fix as much as possible with the brutally limited time and resources for our work. Naturally, the game has not sold enough to start supporting full-time work and that's nothing new for us, during these four years of development.
But the major thing is that we fulfilled our promise with the game, and its cyberpunk instead of cybercrap. Things will just go forward from here.
With that said - 2.0 is near. So far it consists of...
Player's position in the map view (actually way harder to implement than said, because the map is custom work and doesn't 1:1 match the real location, just because it has to read properly from the given perspective)
New SFX and sounds here and there (as some areas of the game were awkwardly quiet)
Under the hood, it has a localization systems in place (but we're still figuring out how to get the resources to translate the game, and on how many languages even)
Some more achievements and minor discoverable content.
And a developer commentary track (Valve-style)
Some random fixes and polish related to feedback and reviews.
Though its possible that once the work is done on that Player Position System, it'll be released as a quick patch, just because everybody really wants it. And then, the rest comes later in a 2.0, which honestly is quite a lot.

Also, OST Release is under works
The idea for this is, it's a separate purchase BUT just because we want to give ALL of the provisions to our lovely composer, Jesse, who has worked so much to get the game scored - on top of his day job and family life, even. He's working on the release and knowing him, its going to be a intricate piece of work.
But yeah! Just wanted to put a word out there on how things are going and what we are up to. Thanks for reading, thanks for playing, commenting, etc.. and see ya later!
-Henri
