Patch #11: The Planetary Assaults Beta

The latest update has been released: Beta v1.2.0 - Planetary Assaults

This update introduces Planetary Assault encounters. Terrestrial strongholds and bastions have long served the Auric Throne by collecting vast tribute from the innumerable colonies of the Empire. As guardians of Imperial interests, these fortifications are built to withstand any orbital attack.

However, they are by no means unassailable. The ravages of time have left vulnerabilities in their defenses, and interminable years of service have rendered their garrisons lax and inattentive. For the daring commander, the tribute-filled halls of planetary fortifications offer only opportunity.

How to Access the Planetary Assaults Beta

To access the Planetary Assaults beta, right-click Void War in your Steam library and in the Betas section you will see a dropdown for Beta Participation. Select 'beta - public beta for steam players' and you're all set.

Note that Planetary Assaults is a work-in-progress. That means: expect bugs, UI issues, and other rough edges. We use the beta branch to gather feedback and improve the experience before the main release.

We highly recommend backing up your profile.sav file before enabling the beta. You can find it here:

C:\\Users[your username]\\AppData\\Roaming\\Void_War
