Void Reaver changes
Hey everyone!
It is incredible to see the response to the Void Reaver demo! Just 24 hours after launch, we already have a fresh update ready for you. This patch incorporates the feedback you have shared through Discord, Twitter, Instagram, and other channels. We are seeing a very positive reception so far, and we want to invite everyone to keep playing and sharing their thoughts. We plan to update the demo frequently as we move toward the Early Access launch.
Below are the notes for Version 0.260224.
Bug Fixes
- Stat PanelsFixed the arrow on the attack speed panel and the enemy percentage display for the next wave.
- EventsResolved an issue where the wait zone event would occasionally fail to appear.
- ProgressionCorrected a bug that prevented unlocked difficulty levels from saving properly.
- ItemsFixed a multiplier stacking issue with bonus item sets.
Inventory: Picking up items that increase random weapon levels will no longer attempt to upgrade relics, which previously caused a drag-and-drop bug.
- NavigationFixed a soft lock where leaving to the main menu from the shop's pause menu would stop character movement in the next game.
- VisualsFixed tooltips and item sets that were occasionally failing to trigger or display.
Relics: The HyperSpaceRatedGlue relic now correctly spawns glue puddles under enemies killed by adjacent projectile weapons.
Balancing and Adjustments
Bosses: Balanced boss health on difficulty levels 2 and 3 for a better gameplay experience.
Relic Spawn Chance: Balanced the spawn chance of relics in the shop to make them more accessible; i.e., the juicy items are becoming more frequent in the shop :3
Damage Scaling: Damage over Time (DoT) now scales with your character's elemental damage.
- TurretsAdjusted the turret damage zone and updated the telegraph size for better clarity.
- QoL ImprovementsIncreased the base pickup range and extended the display time for achievement popups.
Dismantling: You can no longer dismantle items before unlocking a free slot to prevent accidental loss.
Combat: The Event Catalyst damage has been doubled.
Blitz Flames: Kai's dash now applies a Burn DoT instead of direct damage, scaling with elemental stats.
New Features and UI
- TooltipsAdded clear RELIC and ARTIFACT tags to item descriptions.
Menu Logic: Pressing the escape key while in the shop's pause menu will no longer close the pause menu unexpectedly.
- AestheticsA new splash screen has been added to the game.
