VOID DIVER: Escape from the Abyss changes
Thank you to every Manager diving toward the depths of the abyss today.
In the last patch, we worked on making drop pools more intuitive and consistent, and in that process we also touched crafting materials and higher-tier recovery items. Our intent was to address how higher-tier potions were available too early and too cheaply, which diluted the meaning of crafting.
However, many of you told us that this change disrupted the play patterns you'd grown used to. We took that feedback seriously and decided to revert the higher-tier recovery items to their previous form. That said, to avoid an endlessly cheap supply, we've raised the prices somewhat.
Recovery Items
The Large Recovery Drink and Large Sedative Ampoule can again be purchased from the shop via a trait. (Prices have risen somewhat from before.)
Changed the crafting of Large Recovery Drink, Recovery Cartridge, Large Sedative Ampoule, Sedative Cartridge, Antidote Cartridge, Hemostatic Cartridge, and Antibiotic Cartridge to use base materials instead of an upgrade method. (Material costs have also been eased somewhat.)
Re-added some blueprints to the Briefcase's drop list to resolve the drop skew caused by their earlier removal.
Balance
Slightly increased the range of Raven's basic attack.
Adjusted the range of Dark Young's laser pattern. (Reduced the hitbox behind Dark Young.)
Optimization
Optimized network communication.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where projectile range was affected by attack speed.
Fixed an issue where the codex description for 'Coco Awaiting Vacation' was missing.
Fixed an issue where some sudden missions granted items different from their descriptions.
Increased the threshold distance at which doors disappear when no player is present.
Fixed an issue where escaping mid-dash made NPC interaction impossible in the lounge.
Fixed an issue where items disappeared when buying the maximum quantity while pouch items were stacked.
Fixed an issue where some normal monsters did not drop crafting material items.
