Key Improvements

Chest Reward Overhaul

  • We stripped out as much clutter as possible and simplified the reward structure, so you can find what you need in chests more easily. The 'Sealed Weapon Case' and 'Sealed Accessory Case' no longer require keys and have been renamed.

Combat & Balance Changes

Monster Adjustments

  • Reduced the movement speed of 'Kkamong' and 'Doll Mask'.

  • 'Red Mask' now appears in the City Outskirts instead of Downtown.

  • Lowered the excessively high reward drop rates for 'Hollow Rifleman' and 'Hollow Shotgunner'.

  • Reduced the knockback duration of some 'Breacher' patterns.

Foe Rewards

  • All foes now drop at least one trait material.

  • Significantly adjusted the drop locations of trait materials.

Map Balance

  • Significantly revised the field drop lists set for Downtown landmarks.

  • Fixed an issue where high-tier reward chests spawned excessively in the 'Corrupted Aerial Garden'.

  • Changed the spawn location of the quest objective 'Suspicious Crevice' from the 'Nameless Vacant Lot' (City Outskirts) to the 'Twisted Corridor' (Residential Area).

Difficulty Adjustments

  • Increased the spawn interval of shadow monsters on Insane difficulty.

Equipment & Artifacts

  • Reduced equipment durability loss.

  • The 'Ring of Perseverance' now displays its duration in the text, and its duration has been increased.

  • Eased the defense reduction of the Paradox 'Glass Cannon' from -20% to -15%.

Economy & Shops

Interior

  • To ease the Otherworldly Coin hurdle, the currency for interior item purchases (excluding functional fixtures) has been changed from Otherworldly Coins to Money.

Consumables

  • Consumable blueprints no longer drop.

  • Lucas's 'New Product Contract' trait no longer adds consumables to the sales list; instead, consumable blueprints are added to the sales list.

Ether Battery Blueprint

  • Lucas's 'New Product Contract II' trait now adds the Ether Battery blueprint to the sales list.

  • The crafting materials have been changed to Used Battery (Normal), Parts Pile (Rare), and Refined Mana Powder (Elite).

WoAng Shop

  • Prices of items for sale have generally increased (2x), and their appearance rate in the sales list has decreased.

  • Chapter 1 WoAng now sells the 'Worn Whetstone'.

  • Now sells up to 3 quest items. (Previously 1)

Traits

  • Reduced the Otherworldly Coin requirement for acquiring some traits.

Bug Fixes

Character

  • Fixed an issue where Mio's back-attack judgment applied even when using the 'Go Away!' skill while facing away from a monster.

Co-op

  • Fixed an issue where leaving the lounge at the moment a vote began made progress impossible.

  • Fixed an issue where toggling the host's continuous basic attack ON/OFF also applied the setting to guests.

Interface

  • Fixed an issue where equipment registered in the disassembly slot displayed durability as 100/100.

  • Fixed an issue where Shift-key stash switching was possible while using a shop inside a campaign dungeon.

  • Fixed an issue where, after registering some coins at the ATM, more than the held amount was displayed.

  • Fixed an issue where some item descriptions listed disassembly results that differed from the actual results.

Map & Environment

  • Fixed an issue where 'Hachishakusama' could be attacked with ranged attacks from outside the map.

  • Fixed an issue where characters became invisible upon entering some areas of the Residential Area.

  • Fixed an issue where certain areas in the lounge made dropped items impossible to pick up.

Sound

  • Fixed an issue where BGM stopped upon entering certain map areas and restarted upon leaving the sector.

  • Fixed an issue where some record discs dropped from a foe other than the one whose BGM they play.

  • Fixed an issue where the lounge default BGM volume was lower than other BGM.

Misc

  • Fixed numerous other bugs to provide a smoother diving experience.

  • Some content related to basic materials (the Mana Powder line) was missing from this patch, and will be fixed in tomorrow's update along with crafting and disassembly. We'll continue refining economy-related matters so they don't disrupt gameplay.
