changedOne of the most important parts of Vernal's kit is her ability to cast SPELLS. These are found throughout the game in disks, and help you define your playstyle as well as stay alive. But pick carefully, you only have four potential slots to fill at any given time.

addedCasting a spell requires you to set an input for it, so once you get a new one, you can go to the SPELLS subscreen from the pause menu. Here, you can set any spell to one of four different directional inputs. There are lots of spells in the game that you can equip too, heres an example of a few:
