Life above the Venusian clouds isn’t just about staying afloat—it’s also about staying cool. With the upcoming Alpha 2.0 Demo update (and the Prologue), I'm introducing the Cryo Core: a vital building for pushing your colony deeper into the atmosphere.

🏠 Why do we need Cooling Systems?

Your colony’s domes are designed to protect and shelter your people. But once you descend into regions hotter than 70 °C (158 °F), domes will begin to overheat. Without intervention, colonists will suffer, and your city’s survival will be at risk.

💨 Cooling Methods

Since water is scarce on Venus, we rely on alternative coolants:

• Compressed CO₂ → Basic, highly available, but less efficient.

• Ammonia → Mid-tier coolant, more effective and stable.

• Hydrazine → Advanced late-game coolant, offering the best performance. (It also doubles as a powerful rocket and jet fuel!)

⚙️ Strategic Depth

Choosing your coolant isn’t just about survival—it’s about resource management. Do you rely on plentiful but weak solutions, or save your rarest fuels for deeper dives into Venus’ atmosphere?

The Cryo Core will be available in both the Alpha 2.0 Demo and the Prologue, giving pioneers the tools they need to dare the depths of Venus.
