Vector Strike changes
The road so far…
Vector Strike has been in development for 18 months by a small team that wanted to do things differently. Today we welcome you to be part of our development team, and we can’t wait to see what you will do with the game mechanics at your disposal. Vector Strike has been built as a digital sport where you are the athlete and the protagonist. This is not a game where you move characters around like a football coach; this is a game where you will make all the choices and decide the outcome of your games.
Once you get in a game, you will be able to train in practice mode, queue up solo or with your friends, and get seeded for your rank after 10 matches.
Also, if you want to play against your friends, organize little tournaments or specific matches outside matchmaking, we have custom games available. In custom games, you can also join as a spectator and stream those games. Every game is captured in a replay where you can edit and share the best action, the best goals, and the most epic failures.
We have five characters available for you. Four Strikers to master and play immediately, while Juno is unlockable after a few games. Our two prototype characters are locked for this demo. There are a lot of different ways to play with these Strikers and we are not enforcing any meta, you will have to discover the best way to play and ultimately win.
… is just the beginning!
This week's Steam Next Fest and Early access are our opportunity to keep developing this game with you. We have the next year planned ahead, with updates in all aspects of the game, from game design to tech, art, and animation. Expect more strikers and features that will make the game more solid, robust, and fun to play. But we are also allocating fifty percent of our time to prioritize things that are important to you and the community. The best way to communicate with us is through Discord, but don’t forget to use our form to report any bugs that you encounter. Vector Strike is all about potential: potential about the game, the team, and the community. This is our first step forward; join us, and together we can create something great.
From me and the entire team at Chamo Games, thank you for playing Vector Strike, and see you on the pitch!
