Valorborn changes
We are continuing our work to bring Valorborn closer to the level we want it to reach. Alongside bug fixing and stability improvements, we are also planning the next major steps for the game’s future.
With this update, we are releasing several fixes and improvements.
Patch Notes 0.1.3a
Improved the Auto Work system. Several issues have been fixed, and the system now works more smoothly.
The Gather and Pickup actions have been simplified and merged into a single button to reduce confusion.
Since Valorborn is still in Early Access, the full world design is not yet complete. Some areas are currently inaccessible. From now on, these world borders will be visible in red as you approach them.
Fixed an issue where NPC names, their order, and created teams could break after saving and loading.
Added signs to the market and other important locations.
Improved troll combat.
Added a new crash reporter. If your game crashes, which should now be much rarer after the latest updates, you can easily send us a crash report.
Each update puts us one step closer to our vision of the game and we would like to share also some WIP and tools we have created to ease up the workflow to be even more efficient.
Bug Tracker
The bug reports and suggestions you send us are extremely helpful in improving the game. However, since we are a small team and receive a large number of reports across Steam, Discord, Reddit, and other platforms, it became difficult to track and organize everything manually.
To solve this, we developed a new internal web-based bug tracker that helps us collect, analyze, detect duplicates, and prioritize bug reports and suggestions from different platforms.
This allows us to organize all feedback more clearly, focus better on development, and spend less time manually searching through reports.
If we have not been able to reply to you directly on Discord or Steam, please do not worry. We are reading and reviewing your feedback and working hard to use it to make Valorborn better.
Crash Reporter
We have also started using a new and improved reporter system. This tool not only helps with crashes, but also allows you to report issues and bugs you encounter during gameplay.
This helps us collect information faster and more reliably, which means we can react to issues more quickly.
New UIX Work
We have officially started working on the new UX and UI for Valorborn, and progress is already underway.
The new UIX, planned to arrive with our first major update, is being developed together with a professional team and is heavily based on your feedback. Our goal is to create an interface that is cleaner, easier to understand, and more useful during gameplay.
We hope this change will significantly improve the overall game experience. Alongside the new UIX, we are also working on new features that will be introduced in future updates.
That is all from us for now. We want to keep you updated as much as possible about the game and its development. More news will be coming soon.
Test Branch
New updates are on the way, and we want to give you the opportunity to test some of them before they are fully released. However, please keep in mind that these versions are not stable. They may include bugs, errors, and issues that could affect your save files.
To access the Valorborn Test Branch, go to the Betas section in the game’s Steam settings and enter the following password:

You can share any issues you encounter in the test version through our Discord channel and help us improve and fix them before the full release.
See you in the next update!
