Hi all,
While working on the full game I polished a few bits from the demo inspired by watching various people play it at Norwich Games Festival and elsewhere. I said the previous demo patch might be my last, but future me had different ideas! Enjoy.
Patch notes:
Visual
Adjusted various background colours for visibility
Added 'noisy' ground edges to look more natural
Added more colours to grass pattern
Updated some character portraits
Added particles and sound effect for when drystone platforms restore
Improved particles and added shake when picking up spirit drops
Added danger signs before various pits
Mechanics
Improved bubble-gun homing
New map hotkey when map is in inventory
Food hotkey only shows when less than full health
Removed moving platform bug
Level design
Adjusted optional challenges in East Tulia Forest
Currently unobtainable spirit drops won't appear on the map or the level
Made 2nd herb in 1st dream easier to find
Adjusted the start of the 2nd dream
Added a single blueberry bush
Cutscenes
Adjusted Garsen dialogue (again)
Dialogue hint when cheekily jumping into the pit you're told not to jump into
Dialogue hint to remind you to focus after getting spirit drops
