After months of sneaking through vents, dodging lasers, hacking terminals, and occasionally getting spotted in the least spy-like ways imaginable… Unseen Diplomacy 2 is officially leaving Early Access.
Version 1.0 marks the moment our covert operation goes fully live. Thanks to the incredible feedback, bug reports, wild strategies, and heroic room-scale manoeuvres from our Early Access agents, the game has evolved far beyond its original briefing.
This release unlocks the full mission experience: refined systems, new missions, even more rooms, polished environments, many improvements across the board, a tonne of new music, and a mountain of fixes that should make your life as an elite spy just a little less hazardous.
Whether you’ve been with us since the first prototype build or you’re stepping into the shadows for the first time, welcome to the full launch of Unseen Diplomacy 2!
Now straighten that tie, check your gadgets, and go save the world!
Review your new intel in the patch notes below. If you have loved the game to date, please consider leaving us a positive review on the stores!
Climax
We’ve added a new ending to Unseen Diplomacy 2, with completely different gameplay. No spoilers here though!
New Missions, Rooms & Vistas
With brand new updates and additions across our level themes, a large number of new rooms can now be seen, complete with new views outside. New level graphs have also been added, with others being made easier to generate in smaller spaces. This means plenty of new possibilities and gameplay!
Achievements
Both in-game achievements and Steam achievements have been added!
Avatar & Inventory Tweaks
The Avatar calibration has been improved to act much better when playing seated, plus, it no longer shrinks the watch and inventory depending on your height. The inventory is now much easier to place objects in, with sending objectives back to HQ easier too.
Quest 2 Support & Steam Frame Prep
Quest 2 is performant enough to be released now! Work on Steam Frame porting has also begun, ensuring that at least streaming works well.
Music, Visual & Sound Effects
We’ve added so much more wonderful music, and it really packs a punch! We’re super grateful to our composer for the amazing work. We’ve also had our audio team ensuring sound effects and visual effects occur for many more things, new and old! We’ve fixed a lot of the cases where music could be incorrectly disabled while playing too.
Spy Upgrades
The ability to upgrade your spy in campaign mode has been implemented, you can now use Intel to buy health, more inventory and greater movement areas.
Localisation
French, Italian, Spanish, German, Japanese localisation has been completed - with a few lines corrected too. Chinese and Cornish are still in the works.
