UnderMire changes
Across our socials, we’ve been showing off some of the tools you’ll get to play with in UnderMire, and today I really wanted to highlight one of my personal favorites in the game which is known as the Magic Coin.
But first, let me ask you: Heads or Tails? 🤔
Flip that Magic Coin and you’ll either Cash Out a magic spell or have your fear gauge reduced depending on what you land on. Pretty straightforward, right? Well, not quite!
There’s a rare twist to all this coin flipping chaos: the Edge. If you land on this bad boy, you’ll score a triple win: high-damage attacks, a big fear reduction, and a heal for your character. No downsides, just pure good luck.
But here’s the catch: it’s all RNG. Sometimes it’ll save you when you really need it, and sometimes, it just doesn’t show up at all. But when it does? It can completely turn the tide of your ride.
🐖 Remember that Piggy Bank (we promise it ain’t grandmas)?
Well, this is where things get REALLY interesting.
If you bank 1 coin: you’ll either Cash Out a magic spell that does regular damage or fear gauge reduction.
If you bank 2 coins: You’ll get an even BIGGER boost!
The more coins you stack, the potential just keeps on growing!
Of course, the bigger the gamble, the bigger the risk. The more coins you stash, the juicier the payoff. But if you push it too far, expect to get backfired in return. High risk, high reward, and a whole lot of strategy.
That’s just a small taste of the Magic Coin system we’ve been cooking up. We can’t wait for you to try it out yourselves one day, whether you dive in solo or with some friends, to see how it changes the way you approach each run in UnderMire.
So, what are you hoping for now? Heads or Tails (or maybe the Edge)? 🐈
