New Content
The Well
The Well can now be accessed in the Terminus, after the Arcane Sanctum
The Well has 3 layers: Penumbra, Umbra, and Eclipse, each representing a major step up in difficulty. Each layer has a separate, and escalating pool of hexes
Bosses in the Well are randomly selected from the pool of Undermine bosses, but they have new moves and significantly higher stats
Some enemies are unique to the Well. Groups of enemies can be found in the Well that do not exist elsewhere
Altars get better as you go deeper into the Well

Map
The Fast Travel map now displays a room preview so that you can see which room you have selected. The preview is updated whenever you leave a room
The map now displays an icon legend. This can be turned off, or put on toggle in the Options menu
Journal Updates
The journal now displays a player character’s abilities under their portrait. These abilities show their name, description of how they work, how they scale, and the key/button they are bound to
Highlighting any of your stats will now show a tooltip with a breakdown of the items or effects that are modifying that stat. Now you can know the exact bonus an item is granting to you
Added hexes to the journal, both for in-run, and to the items tab
The journal now tracks a player’s achievements. These achievements can be earned on each save file, though will only grant you the Steam achievement the first time you earn it
A new tab with a map of the Undermine and Well has been added to the journal. The map will give you a preview of the upcoming hexes and bosses in the Well. Art for this map is still under development

The Golden Key is now authentic
Increased Jumpers think time on the ground so they have a larger vulnerability window
Velvet hammer now spawns doppelgangers instead of charming enemies
Burnished Axe no longer scales with Caliber, Bounce, or Ricochet
Reduced the top end luck modifiers for all popcorn items from 80 to 60
All popcorn items now check for the authentic tag
Capped chill application at 95
Chill now scales with the attacker’s Intelligence instead of double their Intelligence
Modified the drop rates of the gambling machine
Added some new drops to the gambling machine
Added Nematic Drop recipe to gambling machine
Removed Nematic Drop from the Apparatus
Added Nematic Drop to rare potions loot table
Aegis now does percent damage reduction instead of total negation
Hot Cross Buns now scale the Toughness blessing

Reduced Jawbone growth gain and gave it a max level

Lowered the cost of Assimilator down to 10 mana from 34
Boss Changes
All bosses have been given a tune-up for the Well which allows their stats and moves to scale as you progress. Delays have been tightened up and most stats and values have been reconsidered for balance. Specific noteworthy changes are as follows:
Selt, Sand Hollow Monarch
Now lays all eggs with one attack animation, lowering your window to attack while she’s standing still
New moves:
Spray (endless only)
Liftoff (endless only)
Buff (endless only)
Selt, Queen of Sand
Improved visibility of rockwave projectiles to have higher contrast with the new Well background
Bite and Charge will only now track you up to a certain distance, since damage would become unavoidable at higher Well move speeds

Mortar, Stormspire Monolith
Lowered number of arm slams during the Slam move. Arms now only target players and not followers

Trifle
Trifle eyeballs now time out after 8 jumps and jump back into Trifle and heal him a little bit
Several moves have been consolidated into single moves and removed from the endless move pool

Noori, Umbral Lord
Noori was previously the weakest boss in the Undermine by player kill percent, whereas he needs to be one of the hardest since he comes so late in the run. These changes are meant to address that imbalance
The animation speed of Noori’s primary attacks has been increased and the delay between moves has been decreased slightly
Noori now leaves temporary pools of water under his torches whenever he extinguishes them, preventing you from immediately relighting them
Noori’s health pool has been increased by 20%
Holes have been added to the edges of Noori’s arena
Noori’s beam attacks during his ultimate now damage followers
New moves:
Getting teleported by Noori’s Tentacle portal now spawns a Flick portal at the other end

Cruciferous’s health pool has been increased by 30%

Ancient now spawns Smudgens instead of Smidgens (endless only)
Cruciferous is now invulnerable during his Roar attack
Bug Fixes
Fixed animations and portrait for DanteGhost
Peasant Male Ghost now has the correct journal portrait
Peasant Female Ghost now has the correct journal and small portrait
Black Rabbit Ghost now has the correct journal and small portrait
Dante Ghost now has the correct journal and small portrait
Fixed chests not dropping any loot if they were spawned in the Hub (ex: Chest in a Bottle)
Fixed Alchemy Vendors being embedded in the wall in Encounter_Archive_Treasure_006_BreakRoom
Fixed Lapis Lazuli still applying its mana shield effect even when you didn't have it anymore
Fixed charmed Crimson Skeletons not resurrecting if you moved between rooms while they were in skull form
Swapping player classes now keeps your health and mana at the same ratio as before, rather than filling them up. This prevents you from effectively having infinite mana in the Hub.
Fixed an issue preventing the Autosave popup from being seen
Localization fix for typo in Black Rabbit/Beltrame collab dialog
Fixed several localization issues with languages missing particular characters
Text that’s missing proper localization now falls back to English whenever possible, instead of showing “Missing Loc”. This should make it slightly more possible for players to play mods that haven’t been localized into their language
Fixed an issue where the Burnished Axe projectile would immediately hit the thing it spawned on top of and thus never reach its actual target
Friendly doppelgangers no longer hold the doors closed
Battle Standard now operates like Swindler's Coin. If you drop Battle Standard you will lose the buffs gained, but will regain them if you pick it back up
Blacklight Lantern is now removed from you when you enter the Planar Chest (fixes Planar Chest appearing on every subsequent floor after the target floor)
Liquifier now works on basic items, food, potions, relics, and blessings
Flash Freeze now works again
Darkness curse no longer runs in safe spaces or during NISes
Ostiophobia no longer works during boss encounters
Ogre Magi Manual now only targets hostiles, not neutrals, preventing it from targeting pilfers
Inverted the drop rate adjustment of Pangolin Potion based on your current max armor
Fixed an issue that could cause slurps to get forgotten and then smear across the screen when you transition rooms.
Picking up and dropping a doppeled potion no longer un-doppels it
Brightseed now works on raw gold changes so it continues to proc at full gold
SettingService now better recovers from a corrupted config file
Wet no longer shows remaining duration to avoid showing 0:00 timer all the time
MaxLevel can no longer be bypassed internally by writing to the Level variable inside a StatusEffect
Lightning Mite light no longer gets stuck on when it's charmed while lit
Fixed an issue causing attack speed to get out of sync with owner for StatusEffects that want to sync with their owner's animation state
In most cases, rerolling an item will no longer cause it to lose cost modifiers that have been applied to it
Fixed an issue that would cause you and your items to appear flat black when you die if you’ve disabled Dynamic Lights
Fixed numerous crashes
Other Changes
Players no longer collide with each other in co-op. This should make it easier to navigate tricky puzzles together and avoids situations where one player is forced into a pit during a room transition
The Boss Timer is back!
Added a new High Resolution Timer option to display hundredths on your timers. For the speedrunners, as a treat!
Antechambers for each zone now reflect their tileset and have unique designs
Added a BIG chest to the antechambers
Siegfried's Aegis is now Soulbound instead of Boundless. This resolves an issue where you could sell it to Black Rabbit
Added new encounters
It's no longer possible to Fuse Siegfriend's Aegis at Wayland
Blast Suit now grants mana immunity so that Lapis Lazuli works consistently
Destroying an altar will now give the Altargeist curse unless it is at max level
SpikeBreaking now works with Lapis Lazuli
Activated Items (such as potions) are now moved to a free slot instead of dropped (if one is available)
Added new icons for Despoiler, Nematic Drop, Lifebloom, and Spikebreaking
Enemies are now more consistently spawned into encounters
Added the Beguiled status effect that reduces damage stats based on level
Charm projectiles fired by enemies now beguile player characters
The Egg, Larva, Chrysalis, Butterfly evolution chain now maintains Scale stat
Rearranged the room that leads to Trifle
The Hub is now pilfer-free
Min MaxHP is now 1
Pilfer credit ledger is now Boundless
Tuning Fork and Lotheb's egg now fail to spawn if you're at max follower count, to prevent massive follower churn and to fix an issue that would put you over your follower count
Upped 2x2 room max zoom so coop can zoom out more to keep both players on the screen
Your items are now gilded as soon as you hit the Terminus, so that even if you don't pick up the Weepstone (e.g. you continue to Endless), you still get credit
A doppeled item remains doppeled when it's transmuted
Doppeled skeletons no longer drop skulls
Added a new icon to Weepstone
Anvil
Unity has now been updated to 6000.0.62f1. Unfortunately, this version of Unity contains a bug that causes core sprites to render incorrectly in the Data Browser and Remote Console. We are working with Unity to resolve this issue. Nonetheless, please update to this version before continuing to develop your mods.
Mods can now provide their own SettingsData objects. These objects will automatically be rendered by clicking the new Options button next to any mod in the Options menu. It’s up to the mod to figure out how to use that setting, but users will be able to adjust those settings automatically.
Anvil automatically upgrades your mod's version of Unity as part of the startup checks
Anvil no longer overwrites your mod's description in the Steam workshop when publishing
Using the "Test Mod" button now gives you the Journal and Glasses
Anvil now has "Build Mod" and "Run Game" buttons
Accessibility
Per-character Keybinding
Keys and buttons can now be individually bound per character allowing for different controls per character. This option can be accessed via the Keybindings page of the Options menu. Only characters that you’ve unlocked (or are currently playing as) will be shown here.
